About us
The glamour of the Old World meets the creative spirit of the New inside The Bellevue Hotel- in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. As Philadelphia’s only hotel on the National Register of Historic Places, The Bellevue Hotel occupies a storied place on South Broad Street in Center City. The ornate architecture and decoration that made “The Grand Dame of Broad Street” famous can still be seen today. Numerous U.S. presidents have stayed in the hotel’s lavish suites over the past decades, and the Grand Ballroom has hosted national conventions and major sporting events. The hotel has even made culinary history: One of its earliest chefs, William “Bill” King, is credited with the invention of chicken à la King. Today it stands as one of the most iconic structures on the Avenue of the Arts, and remains host to grand occasions on Philadelphia’s social calendar.

Great news — we’ve got room for you! 🎉
One year ago, I walked into The Bellevue Hotel with a flood of memories— my senior prom in 2000, sneaking into The Sporting Club hoping to catch a run with the 2004 Sixers, and bolting out of Tavern on Broad to storm Broad Street in 2008 after watching Brad Lidge seal the World Series for the Phillies. To now play a role in bringing this iconic building into its next chapter—a modern grand hotel that honors its past while embracing the future—has been extremely meaningful to say the least. It’s reignited my passion for hospitality and my love for city of Philadelphia. What we’re building here is just getting started. As we move forward to late 2025 and early 2026, the story only gets better! #TheBellevueHotel #LongLovePhiladelphia Elevated Angles LLC Brett Tiagwad
