  • Get to know Texas Health! Meet Jenson Abraham, Pharm.D., MBA, a clinical pharmacist lead at Texas Health Rockwall. Jenson is in our employee spotlight and talks what empowers him to make a meaningful impact on patient care. When asked how do you do your life’s best work at Texas Health, Jenson said, “I do my best work through collaboration. That is where meaningful impact truly happens. Much of my growth is thanks to the mentorship and encouragement I’ve received from leaders and colleagues over the years. I’ve been pushed outside my comfort zone in ways that challenged me and ultimately helped me grow professionally. Having that kind of support makes all the difference." Our team members are awesome! • Community Time Off (CTO) allows Texas Health employees to serve and volunteer with outside organizations, schools and nonprofits in our local service areas. And our employees have really been busy supporting our communities. • Texas Health Fort Worth's amazing Mother Baby Unit staff recently took part in the March of Dimes March for Babies as part of our Community Time Off initiative. Their dedication goes beyond the bedside—coming together to support healthier moms, stronger babies, and brighter futures for families in our community. • Texas Health Breeze was honored to serve as the Medical Tent sponsor at the recent Heart of Melissa Spring Festival! Thank you to the Breeze staff for volunteering and keeping the attendees safe and healthy. • Leadership doesn't end at the hospital doors; it lives in the heart of our community. Our Med-Surg leaders at Texas Health Arlington Memorial continue to show what it truly means to serve, extending their compassion, expertise, and commitment beyond the bedside and into the lives of those around them. Whether giving their time, supporting local initiatives, or simply showing up where it matters most, their impact reaches far beyond our walls. Thank you to every team member for making a difference. We love giving back to the communities we serve. #Get2KnowTexasHealth #GivingBack #ServingOurCommunity #Volunteering

  • Get to know Texas Health! Meet Chelsey Maddox, B.S.N., R.N., CEN, a nursing supervisor in the Emergency Department (ED) at Texas Health Kaufman. Chelsey is in our employee spotlight and shares her journey towards becoming a certified nurse. When asked what did you learn by getting certified, Chelsey said, "I learned so much in getting certified. I had been an ED nurse for about seven years when I got certified, so it was great to drill down and get deeper into many of the different disease processes/emergency situations that we see on a daily basis. It really helped in my assessment skills and critical thinking." We love supporting our nurses who achieve a national nursing certification and grow in their careers at Texas Health with bonus payments and exam fee reimbursements.
