Excited to share that our paper on TerraBind, Terray’s foundation model for protein-ligand structure and binding affinity prediction, was accepted to #ICML2026.  TerraBind’s novel approach and focus on potency over pose yields 26x faster performance while improving predictions by ~20%. 🚀What do stars and drug discovery have in common? NASA's Artemis mission is pushing humanity deeper into the cosmos, and humans have been cataloging the universe star by star for hundreds of years. Space explorers use a technique called photometry, which quantifies light intensity with precise mathematical models to measure the stars. At Terray, we use the same method to measure binding of molecules to targets. We’ve amassed over 15 billion of these measurements, backed by over 350 billion datapoints taken from our ultradense microarray— each one a tiny flash of biochemical signal, quantified with photometric precision. Astronomers are charting the universe one star at a time. We’re charting the universe of chemistry with a focused purpose, to discover and develop drugs to help patients in need. We use different scales and the same elegant math. Both searches are trying to answer a profound question: what’s out there, and what does it mean? The cosmos is vast. So is chemical space.
