Thank you to Semiconductor Engineering and Liz Allan for the thoughtful discussion featuring perspectives from Sam Toba and John Weil, along with Augustine Nebu Philips and our partner Robert Otręba CEO of GRINN Global. One theme stood out clearly: vision alone is not enough. Real-world interaction requires touch sensing, voice understanding, contextual awareness, and fast, local processing that enables real-time response. https://bit.ly/4eUOD9Q #EdgeAI #Robotics #EmbeddedAI #HumanInterfaceTechnology

Thanks to Liz Allan and Semiconductor Engineering for the thoughtful discussion on how battery management systems are evolving alongside AI-enabled devices and software-defined systems. John Weil shared an important point: future devices are unlikely to deliver dramatically longer battery life. Instead, they’ll be expected to deliver more intelligence, more features, and more on-device AI within similar power constraints. That balance between performance, efficiency, and power optimization is becoming increasingly important as more AI processing moves to the Edge across automotive, industrial, and IoT applications. https://lnkd.in/g6F6gd8i #EdgeAI #IoT #EmbeddedSystems #Automotive

User experience was center stage at this week’s Google I/O 2026, as AI-enabled capabilities continue to reshape how people interact with the products they use every day. A highlight for our team was seeing “Jellectronica” featured ahead of the keynote on the mainstage. Powered by the Synaptics Coralboard™, the experience transformed live jellyfish movement into AI-generated music using real-time Edge AI. Our Coralboard demos at the Gemma Playground drew strong interest throughout the event, with developers stopping by to explore the platform firsthand and learn how it can help accelerate on-device AI development with the Synaptics Astra™ AI-Native platform. Great energy, curiosity, and conversation across the developer community throughout the event. A clear reminder that developers are looking for more accessible, efficient ways to utilize AI directly at the Edge. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4wA6Y26 #GoogleIO #EdgeAI #EmbeddedAI #OnDeviceAI
