As we continue celebrating Women in Construction Week, we’re excited to spotlight a member of our Estimating team. Meet Andrea, who began her journey at Sure Steel in January. We asked Andrea what excites her most about being part of the construction industry: "What excites me most about being part of the construction industry is seeing projects move from concept to reality. In steel construction, we're literally building the structural backbone of facilities that communities rely on. As an estimator, I enjoy the challenge of analyzing plans. As we continue celebrating Women in Construction Week, we’re excited to introduce a member of our preconstruction team.   Meet Luiza, a Production Manager based in Salt Lake City. When asked what leading production on a construction project means to her, Luiza explained: "To me, leading production on a construction project means creating structure, clarity, and accountability from start to finish. It looks like coordinating people, processes, and timelines so that everything moves safely, efficiently, and with quality at the forefront. Leadership in production also means supporting the team, solving problems quickly, and making sure communication stays strong between departments so we can successfully deliver what we promise.
