This week, our CEO Matt Baer took the stage at the #TIME100 Summit alongside Arianna Huffington, Dr. Athina Kanioura and Sara Eisen for a conversation about leading through transformation in an era of constant change. One clear takeaway from the conversation was this: as AI transforms how we live and work, we can't just invest in technology. We need to invest in people. At Stitch Fix, AI has been integrated into our business model since before people were even talking about AI. While we have long believed in the power of the technology, we are equally focused on investing in what AI can’t replace, human connection. Check out the full video of the conversation and the associated TIME piece in the comments below.

Stitch Fix reposted this
We know that many of our clients are navigating body transformations. Client mentions of "weight loss" in Fix requests have tripled over two years, surging 75% year-over-year this past quarter. As people experience rapid physical transformations, they need support and, at Stitch Fix, we’re uniquely positioned to meet them at this moment. Thanks Melissa Repko at CNBC for the conversation. Last week at Shoptalk, Stitch Fix CEO Matt Baer and Chief Marketing Officer Debbie Woloshin shared how we’re delivering a more personalized retail experience through the combination of data, AI, and the human connection of our Stylists. Matt joined The Aisle's Jason Del Rey to discuss retail in the age of AI, while Debbie sat down with Shoptalk's HG O'Connell to discuss how we are solving real pain points for our clients. A few themes that came through across both conversations: - The most effective personalization feels like a conversation that never has to start over. - Using AI to help shoppers visualize decisions (not just browse options) can unlock confidence and drive action. Tools like Stitch Fix Vision bring that to life through personalized, shoppable outfit imagery. - Applying AI to real customer pain points, like uncertainty around fit, style, and occasion, is where it delivers the most value. - In a category as personal as apparel, keeping humans in the loop is what builds trust and long-term relationships. Thanks to the Shoptalk team for bringing together such thoughtful conversations! #ShoptalkSpring #Retail #AI

Trend fatigue is real. Retail TouchPoints highlighted Stitch Fix’s 2026 forecast in its annual roundup, noting a shift away from “trend churn.” Our data shows two-thirds of clients are being more selective with trends, which is fueling the rise of Statement Staples: sculptural jewelry, colorful bags and standout outerwear layered onto elevated basics. More than half of Stitch Fix clients describe their ideal 2026 wardrobe as “elevated basics with bold accents.” As trend fatigue grows, shoppers are redefining what feels essential in their wardrobes. Check out the article, as well as all of our 2026 predictions, in the comments 👇
