Walter said it best in his post! Daikin’s investment in innovative comfort solutions is apparent when you visit in person. We are always humbled when our dealers take time to visit and experience the Daikin Texas Technology Park with us.
Mike and I recently had the opportunity to tour the Daikin Texas Technology Park (DTTP) just outside of Houston, and it was truly impressive. This facility is over 4.2 million square feet (about 74 football fields under one roof), making it one of the largest manufacturing plants in North America. At DTTP, Daikin manufactures furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and rooftop units; all designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA, with more than 5,000 team members working on site. What stood out most: • Exceptionally clean and organized facility • Highly efficient manufacturing processes • Strong culture; people were friendly, engaged, and proud of their work • True integration of engineering, manufacturing, and logistics under one roof You can clearly see how bringing all of these functions together allows for faster innovation, better quality control, and improved delivery to customers. As a contractor, it’s valuable to see firsthand where and how the equipment we install is made. It reinforces the importance of partnering with manufacturers who are investing in technology, people, and long-term innovation. A big thank you to Stevens Equipment Supply, Daikin Comfort for arranging the trip, hosting us, and providing such a great experience. We truly appreciate the opportunity. We came away very impressed. This month, we had the pleasure of hosting our 2026 Daikin Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas! We kicked things off by bringing our entire Stevens sales team together (which doesn’t happen often!) to align, share ideas, and strengthen relationships across our organization. We then welcomed Daikin Comfort Pro’s to our Dealer Meeting, followed by a memorable evening reception in front of the iconic Bellagio Fountains. To top it off, many joined our team for the EPIC Conference to keep the momentum going. Thank you to everyone who made the trip and invested the time!
