Updates

  • AI infrastructure isn’t just about building bigger models anymore. Increasingly, it’s about who can run them faster, cheaper, and more efficiently. That’s why this latest Tenstorrent update caught our attention. Tenstorrent recently demonstrated an optimized AI video model running on its Blackhole servers that could reportedly generate a 5-second video in just 2.4 seconds, pushing into real-time AI video generation territory.¹ The company says the setup used hundreds of Blackhole accelerators and achieved speeds significantly faster than comparable systems. At StartEngine Private, we previously offered exposure to Tenstorrent. Congratulations to those investors. 👏 As demand for AI compute continues to surge, companies building the chips, infrastructure, and systems powering next-generation AI workflows are becoming some of the most closely watched players in private markets. • If there was any doubt about Wall Street’s enthusiasm for AI, Cerebras just answered it. The AI chipmaker reportedly raised $5.6B in its IPO, making it the year’s largest public debut so far.¹ And for longtime followers of StartEngine Private, that name may sound familiar. Over 100 people invested in Series Cerebras on StartEngine before the IPO, including multiple sold-out offerings Of course, an IPO doesn’t guarantee outcomes for private-market investors. But moments like this are a reminder of why many investors seek exposure to innovative companies before they potentially reach the public markets. The AI infrastructure race is accelerating fast — and public markets are paying attention. Ready to start or grow your private market portfolio? • The race to build America’s next-generation missile defense system is creating some unexpected names to watch. Quindar was among the companies selected by the U.S. Space Force as part of the proposed “Golden Dome” missile defense initiative, a program designed to help develop space-based interceptors capable of countering advanced missile threats.¹ That puts Quindar alongside some of the largest defense and aerospace contractors in the world. At StartEngine Private, Qualified Purchasers previously had the opportunity to gain exposure to Quindar through one of our exclusive multi-offering Funds. Congratulations to those investors. 👏 This is one of the more interesting trends happening in private markets right now: startups working directly with government agencies on highly strategic infrastructure, defense, and AI-related initiatives. And increasingly, these companies are staying private longer while reaching milestones that historically happened after IPOs. • The AI arms race isn’t slowing down, and Anysphere is quickly becoming one of the companies investors can’t stop watching. According to CNBC, Anysphere (creator of Cursor) is reportedly in talks to raise $2B at an estimated valuation north of $50B.¹ The round is said to include major names like Andreessen Horowitz, NVIDIA, and Thrive Capital. Not long ago, Cursor was valued at an estimated $9.9B. Now? The company is reportedly discussing a valuation that could potentially be more than 5x higher. At StartEngine Private, we previously offered exposure to Cursor. Congratulations to the investors who got in early. 👏 The bigger story here may be what it says about the demand for AI-native software tools. Cursor is part of a wave of companies building products around AI agents and AI-assisted coding, one of the hottest categories in tech right now. • Google is doubling down on the AI race, and Anthropic is one of the biggest beneficiaries. According to CNBC, Google plans to invest up to $40B in Anthropic as competition for next-generation AI infrastructure and models continues to heat up.¹ The deal reportedly includes an initial $10B investment, with additional capital tied to future milestones. At StartEngine Private, we previously offered exposure to Anthropic, giving accredited investors access to a company now attracting strategic checks from a leader in tech. Congrats to the investors who got in early. 👏 The private markets continue to move fast, especially in AI. • Support for quantum computing keeps getting louder. This time, it’s Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan joining PsiQuantum’s board, another major signal that some of the world’s biggest tech leaders are paying close attention to the space. Barron’s called it “another big tech endorsement” for PsiQuantum, which is aiming to build the world’s first useful quantum computer using photonics-based technology. And here’s the interesting part for private market investors: Series PsiQuantum sold out on StartEngine Private last year. Then, Series PsiQuantum-2 sold out last month. That's why we just launched Series PsiQuantum-3. As momentum around quantum computing continues to build, eligible investors once again have the chance to gain exposure to one of the sector’s most talked-about companies. Check the link in the comments to learn more. *** Offerings on StartEngine Private are made under Regulation D, Rule 506(c), through StartEngine Primary LLC (member FINRA/SIPC), and are available only to accredited investors. • The AI ecosystem is starting to connect in a big way. SpaceX announced that it secured the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion. If it doesn’t, SpaceX will pay $10 billion for the companies’ work together.¹ That’s after Anysphere struck a deal with xAI earlier this month for access to tens of thousands of GPUs. The company will use it to train its latest model: Composer 2.5.² And here’s what makes this especially notable for us: Our investors previously had the opportunity to gain exposure to both xAI and Anysphere (Cursor) through StartEngine Private. Now those two companies are teaming up. This is what the private markets can look like when you zoom out: networks forming before they ever hit public markets. To those investors: congratulations. Moments like this are why access matters. Curious what other companies are building (potentially together)? • Skild AI just acquired Zebra Technologies’ robotics automation business, marking another step toward bringing intelligence into the physical world.¹ Because the next phase of AI is as much about software as it is robots that can operate in warehouses, factories, and beyond. And companies like Skild AI are building the bridge. Before this news, our investors had the chance to gain exposure to Skild AI through StartEngine Private. To those investors: congratulations. This is what we’re watching closely right now: the shift from digital intelligence to real-world execution. Where AI doesn’t just generate answers, it gets things done. • Some of the biggest AI infrastructure stories are starting to converge. Cerebras filed to go public on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “CBRS.”¹ At the same time, the company is deepening its relationship with OpenAI in a deal that could be worth $20B+ over the next few years.¹ That’s not just momentum. That’s positioning. Because in AI, it’s not only about the models. It’s about the compute powering them. And Cerebras is making a clear case to be part of that foundation. Before these headlines, our investors had the chance to gain exposure to Cerebras through StartEngine Private. To those investors: congratulations. This is what we mean when we talk about access to private markets: not just early-stage ideas, but companies shaping entire industries before they hit public markets. Curious what else is out there?
