  • At STAR Physical Therapy, stories like Miss Lynda’s remind us why we love what we do. 💙 After struggling with hip pain for more than a year, Miss Lynda felt discouraged and ready to throw in the towel. She came to our Cookeville clinic searching for answers and relief. During her evaluation, Clinic Director Dustin Rich identified the source of her pain and developed a personalized treatment plan aimed at helping her return to the activities she loves most. After attending physical therapy three times a week, Miss Lynda quickly began noticing less pain, increased strength, and renewed confidence. Today, she is riding her horse again after a year away from the saddle! 🐴 “I always feel much better both physically and emotionally after my visits.” 🙌 #PhysicalTherapy #PT #STARPT #CookevilleTN #DoWhatYouLove

  • Keon Hardin has been putting in the work at our Springfield clinic after undergoing ACL repair with internal bracing in October 2025. Keon is a Division 1 football prospect, and his goal is to get back on the field and join a D1 team in time for football season. He has progressed from the early stages of rehab to advanced training, including free weights, sprinting, jumping, and heavy sled pushing and pulling. He continues to make impressive progress! 💪 We’re proud to be part of his journey and excited to see what’s ahead for Keon! 👏 #PhysicalTherapy #ACLRecovery #SportsMedicine #STARPT #SpringfieldTN

  • FAQ Friday 👇 “Does Dry Needling hurt?” Most people are surprised to find it doesn’t hurt much. The needles used are very thin, solid, and flexible. You might feel a quick pinch, followed by a brief muscle twitch or a deep ache. That’s actually a good sign it’s working. Dry needling helps: ✅ Reduce muscle tightness ✅ Improve mobility ✅ Decrease pain It’s a safe, effective technique used by our trained physical therapists to target the root of your discomfort. If you’ve been dealing with stubborn muscle pain, this could be a great option for you.
