Glennon Prom reflects Cardinal Glennon’s belief that care goes far beyond medicine. Through the work of our Child Life team, patients are given opportunities to hold onto important childhood memories during a time when those moments can often feel out of reach. Events like Glennon Prom leave a lasting impact on our patients and families, and we are so thankful to everyone who helped make this such a memorable night.

A big thank you to our wonderful friends at McCarthy for stopping by the hospital with one of our patients’ favorite activities.. LEGO! There were smiles everywhere, from patients and parents to the McCarthy employees who helped make the day extra special.

This nurses week, we’re proud to share the latest construction update for the new SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. In this update, some of our incredible NICU nurses had the chance to tour the future NICU, providing us an inspiring reminder of who we’re building this space for. Every floor of this hospital has been intentionally designed to both support patients and families and provide the best possible spaces for our staff to provide the best possible care. Thank you to our nurses for all you do for patients and families every day and thank you for helping us shape the future of pediatric care in St. Louis. Happy Nurses Week!

This month, we proudly recognized Donate Life Month and helped raise awareness for organ donation and transplantation at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and last week our staff and leaders proudly wore blue and green in honor of Pediatric Transplant Week.
