Built Bar was already doing $12M a year on Amazon, but bigger growth required better decisions. Using SmartScout, their team was able to validate new opportunities, improve competitive analysis, and build a more confident growth strategy. The result: Built Bar grew to $23M+ in Amazon revenue. That is what better Amazon growth looks like, less guesswork, and more clarity. To find out more about how Ben and his team at Built Brands did it, read more here; https://lnkd.in/gWXn99Tg

More product, brand, and seller data than anything out there. Built for Amazon sellers, by Amazon sellers.
About us
The most extensive Amazon brand and product finder ever made! A tool built for Amazon sellers, by Amazon sellers. SmartScout is a tool for Amazon sellers to use as their own personal treasure map of Amazon! Buyboxer - one of the largest third-party sellers on Amazon, hated crawling through product pages, or using inadequate "all-in-one" tools just to find a few sellable products. So we created SmartScout, a brand and product finder so powerful it shocked us to see just how many profitable products we had been missing out on.

The Amazon Marketplace has changed, and it's never going back to the way it was. Revenue is up. New sellers are down. And most of the money is flowing to fewer, bigger players. We dug into the data, the shifts, and the uncomfortable truth about what it actually takes to win on Amazon now. 🎥 The video is live now. I'm a top 10 seller and run an Amazon data company. I'm telling you that you don't want to miss this if you're in the Amazon space. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gbbPmHSe

Something weird is happening on Amazon. Revenue is exploding, but new sellers are vanishing. Big brands are getting bigger. Factories are selling direct. And the old “side-hustle Amazon dream” is disappearing as we speak. I’ve seen the data, heard the stories, been through every phase of the Amazon seller journey, and I’m going to tell you about it. Check in tomorrow for a video that tells you what you need to know about the current Amazon marketplace.

We used to blast 1,000+ cold emails a week. Now we send 50. Revenue went up. THE OLD PLAYBOOK: Spray and pray. Hit every Amazon seller with a pulse. Book 20 calls, close 1. Celebrate the win, ignore the waste. Our sales team was drowning in shit leads. THE SHIFT: Started using SmartScout. Only targeting brands doing $10M+. Suddenly every conversation mattered. No more: • "We're just starting out" • "Can you store 5 units?" • "What's your cheapest option?" • "We'll circle back next year" THE MATH: Old way: 1,000 emails → 20 calls → 1 client (worth $50K) New way: 50 emails → 10 calls → 3 clients (worth $500K) Less work. Better clients. Higher revenue. THE HARD PART: Saying no to "opportunities." A $2M brand reaches out? Pass. Perfect fit but only 100 SKUs? Pass. Great founder but shipping 50 units/month? Pass. My team thought I was insane. "That's money walking away!" THE REALITY: Small clients take the same onboarding time as big ones. Same support tickets. Same account management. But one pays $5K/month. The other pays $50K. Your choice. THE LESSON: The leads you say no to determine the business you build. Chase everyone = mediocre everything. Chase the right ones = exceptional outcomes. Who else learned to say no before saying yes?

Running Shoe Shake-Up on Amazon: Winners, Losers, and Nike‘s Comeback The latest data from SmartScout paints a fascinating picture of the current Amazon running shoe market—and it’s full of surprises, shifts, and a major comeback story in the making. Here’s a breakdown of where the top brands stand in estimated monthly revenue, market share, and market momentum: Winners: • HOKA: Leading the charge with an +8.03% market share increase, now owning 11.30% of the market and generating $6.2M/month. A massive surge for the performance-focused brand. • New Balance: Holding strong at $5.7M in revenue and 10.40% share, gaining +0.58%. A steady climber. • #Altra: Modest but positive growth of +0.22%, holding 1.93% share with $1M in revenue. • On: Another niche brand with slight growth (+0.03%) and identical market share/revenue as Altra. Flat or Losing Ground: • Saucony: Small dip of -0.03%, holding 3.59% market share. • Brooks Running: Despite dominating in market share (26.14%) and generating a whopping $14.2M/month, it saw a -0.56% decline—signaling rising competition. • Under Armour: At 6.84% share and $3.7M revenue, the brand dropped -0.85%. • adidas: Notable decrease of -1.76%, now at 8.91% share and $4.8M in revenue. • Nike: The iconic brand holds 7.74% market share and earns $4.2M/month, but took a -2.67% hit—yet there’s more to the story. • ASICS: Despite earning $8.4M/month and holding 15.50% share, the brand saw the biggest decline at -3.17%. The Plot Twist: Nike‘s Return After years of limiting its official presence on Amazon and relying on resellers for visibility, Nike is making a comeback. While their current dip reflects the lag from their previous exit, insiders believe this reentry could shift the entire competitive landscape. With brand loyalty, global recognition, and renewed strategy, Nike might be poised to reclaim the top spot. Takeaways: • The Amazon running shoe market is increasingly dynamic. • Smaller brands like HOKA and On are showing it’s possible to grow rapidly through alignment with evolving consumer expectations. • Established players like Nike and adidas are re-strategizing for relevance in the new e-commerce era. As 2025 unfolds, the battle for market share will be fierce. Will HOKA continue its climb? Can Brooks Running fend off challengers? Is Nike’s comeback a turning point? Let’s keep watching. #AmazonSales #RunningShoes #EcommerceTrends #Nike #SmartScoutData #BrandStrategy #DigitalCommerce #FootwearIndustry
