SlipBots auto-load/unload any truck in 5 minutes. Truckers don’t wait, and forklift drivers don’t risk it.
About us
Slip Robotics empowers people to auto-load/unload any truck in 5 minutes using SlipBot Automated Loading Robots (ALRs) -- at any dock, in any trailer, and with zero Wi-Fi or IT integration required. The SlipBot robots-as-a-service network drives 10x improvements in safety, speed, and savings across the supply chain. 🚚 Truckers shouldn't wait. 👷♂️ Forklift drivers shouldn't risk it. ⚡ Auto-load/unload any truck in 5 minutes with SlipBots. Truck drivers spend 23% of their workday just idling at a dock and waiting for forklift drivers to load/unload their trailer, while forklift drivers face constant pressure to load/unload freight faster despite all the risks of damage and injury. Now, those same people can solve this bottleneck with the click of a button: commanding SlipBots to fully auto-load/unload a trailer in just 3 minutes, instead of rushing to drive forklifts in & out of a trailer for 30+ minutes. The secret is SlipBot, a rugged and beautifully "simple" Automated Loading Robot (ALR) platform that carries 20 pallets per minute in/out of any trailer at any dock -- with no dock modifications, no special trailers, no IT integration, and no Wi-Fi required. It just works. Slip seamlessly automates a process, not *just* a vehicle. The SlipBot RaaS (robots-as-a-service) network delivers 10x improvements in safety, speed, and savings across the supply chain. Slip's experienced team and field-proven SlipBots already power 24/7 production manufacturing and logistics operations for multiple Fortune 500 customers, and we're just getting started.

We’re doing things a bit different and proud of it 🦾🔥 #robotics #trailerloading #ALRs #dockoperations #manufacturing
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 is a multi-billion dollar industry in which companies are turning to #robotics to unload complex trailers packed with boxes. With a shrinking #workforce and growing demands for better labor conditions, companies around the world, as well as investors, are turning to these automated systems to capitalize on their offerings. In the last few years, we have seen some pretty eye-opening investments and partnerships announced around this industry: 📦 UPS: $120M deal for 400 robots from Pickle Robot Company 📦 DHL: 1,000 Stretch robots commitment with Boston Dynamics 📦 John Deere: Adoption with Slip Robotics at multiple locations In this video, we see solutions featured from: 🤖 Boston Dynamics 🤖 Pickle Robot Company 🤖 Mujin US 🤖 Anyware Robotics 🤖 Slip Robotics 🤖 Contoro Robotics 🤖 Dexterity, Inc. 🤖 SENAD 🤖 XYZ Robotics A quick note, there is an entire additional market for autonomous forklifts and pallet unloading. I covered some of those solution providers in a recap post I did following #Modex last month. This focused on non-pallet. So will we see more of these solutions deployed? Or will the #humanoidrobot market take over this industry segment? #TheManufacturingMillennial #Robotics #Warehouse #Logisics #Automation

Our CRO, Alex Allen-Tunsil, was interviewed by Nathan Chaney during Modex. Check out the video to learn more about why Slip Robotics is shaking things up at the docks...
🚨 “30 minutes to an hour” just became “less than 5 minutes.” 🚨 That’s the kind of statement that stops people mid-aisle at MODEX. We caught up with Slip Robotics CRO Alex Allen-Tunsil to talk about the company’s newest innovation: the Slip Lift. Here’s the big idea 👇 Instead of the robot traveling with the payload, the payload now rides on a tray while the robot slides out from underneath it. Translation? - One robot can support multiple trays - One robot can service multiple docks - Dock operations move dramatically faster - Loading and unloading times shrink from up to an hour… ...to under five minutes! That’s not just automation. That’s a complete rethink of dock flow. MODEX 2025 keeps proving one thing: The companies winning in supply chain aren’t just making things faster. They’re redesigning the process entirely. 🔥 *************************************************************** 🗣️ Shoutout to the Slip Robotics team! Slip Robotics reposted this
Slip Robotics is worth watching because it is not trying to automate the loading dock in the usual way. Instead of building a heavy, fixed automation system around the dock, the company is pushing a lighter model: autonomous loading robots that move freight in and out of trailers with minimal facility change. That matters. Trailer loading is still one of the most stubborn manual links in logistics. Forklifts, pallet jacks, dock congestion, driver waiting time, and safety exposure inside trailers have been accepted as normal for decades. Slip Robotics is attacking that old workflow from a different angle: make the freight move as a unit, reduce the need for people inside the trailer, and keep deployment simple enough for real industrial sites. Slip Robotics was founded in 2020 and is based in the Atlanta area. The company has raised $45 million to date, including a $28 million Series B round announced in December 2024, and its named customers include John Deere, GE Appliances, Valeo, and Nissan. Its SlipBot system is already used in production operations across more than 25 North American sites, according to the company and funding announcements.
