The U.S. Court of International Trade invalidated 10% across-the-board Section 122 tariffs, but limited relief to three importer plaintiffs before it. The government has appealed. In late July, while the appeal is pending, the tariffs will expire. Nonetheless, importers should act now to preserve any future refund rights and minimize their exposure to potential new tariffs.
