D . The result? He achieved the highest grade among his peers for his thesis, a testament to what's possible when industry mentorship meets academic rigor. Congratulations Hussein Allaw!! Thrilled to share an update on the IP Design Training Program, jointly hosted by Lebanese American University and American University of Beirut. After two months of intensive sessions, the program has reached its final instructional phase. From a highly competitive selection, 35 candidates were chosen, and 27 trainees are actively progressing with strong dedication and enthusiasm. A big thank you to Yervant Zorian – the true godfather of this program – for his vision and leadership. A huge appreciation and recognition also goes to 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐳𝐠𝐞𝐧, who designed, architected, and planned the whole program, and to 𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐃, whose contribution was instrumental in making this initiative a success. The Synopsys Inc team’s specialized sessions ensured a powerful transfer of knowledge and methodology, bridging academia with industry. As we now move into the three-week project phase, participants will put their skills into action. This program is not only a stepping stone for the trainees but also a cornerstone for building Lebanon’s Digital IP design talent pipeline.
