We recently collaborated with University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business master's students Setodji Davito and Talal Syed on their experiential project "AI-Powered Category Management: SSIQ" with us, developing an innovative platform that delivers ITAR-compliant, human-reviewed supplier shortlists in under 3 minutes. This 5-stage pipeline seamlessly integrates market intelligence, compliance screening, and supplier evaluation while maintaining critical human oversight throughout to revolutionize how we identify optimal sources of supply. Special thanks to: ▪️Setodji Davito and Talal Syed ▪️Tate Wazenegger, our Senior Director of Supply Chain Management for his mentorship ▪️Professor Fairy Gandhi of CU Boulder Leeds School ▪️Our dedicated team: Alex Randall, Jared Sheehan, and Dylan Clark, MBA, CPIM Innovation + mentoring, this is one of our favorite types of relationships. Together, we're pioneering the intersection of AI and supply chain innovation! #SupplyChain #AI #Innovation #CUBoulder #SierraSpace

We're proud to celebrate our team members—Drake Nimz, Todd Treichel, Trent Cybela, and Jared Ruzicka—who served as Rocket Judges at the NASA Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium’s Collegiate Rocket Launch (CRL) competition! As AIAA (American Institute for Aeronautics & Astronautics) - Wisconsin Section volunteers, they evaluated student teams from critical design review all the way through launch. By sharing their expertise, they’re helping the next generation of aerospace engineers gain hands-on experience in rocket design, construction, and flight. #SierraSpace #STEM #Aerospace #Rocketry #WSGC #AIAA #FutureEngineers

We’re proud to share this example of collaborative innovation. Team efforts like this with the NASA Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium highlight the kind of hands-on engineering experience that drives progress in the aerospace industry. From concept to testing, this team demonstrated the curiosity, rigor, and problem-solving mindset needed to push boundaries—on Earth and beyond. Supporting emerging talent working on challenges like lunar dust mitigation is critical to enabling future missions. Great work by everyone involved.
Grateful to share an incredible opportunity in collaboration with Sierra Space and the NASA Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium! The team was tasked with reengineering and redesigning a lunar dust testing chamber used to evaluate the effects of regolith on lunar rover lighting systems. Our collaborative design was brought to life and successfully conducted multiple rounds of testing on operational lighting hardware this past week. A sincere thank you to Todd Treichel and Abhishek Verma for making this opportunity possible and all the guidance and support throughout the process. Huge shoutout to the team!
