Newsweek spoke with Seeds of Peace Executive Director Eva Armour about how dialogue can build bridges across deep divides of disagreement, difference, and conflict. In this polarized and often violent moment, Seeds of Peace offers a model that does more than inspire—it builds real relationships, changes lives, and moves us toward something better. This work is not optional. It is essential—and more important now than ever. Watch the interview: https://lnkd.in/ey3cmJ-P #SeedsofPeace #Dialogue #Peacebuilding #ConflictTransformation #Leadership

We are so grateful to Robert Bordone and team for leading 34 Seeds from the Middle East, South Asia, the United States, and the United Kingdom through a four-day negotiation and mediation workshop, this time in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I'm back in Cambridge after 12 days of travel that brought me to Edinburgh, London, and Dubai with workshops and talks. It's always good to be home. And it's always good to be reminded of how big the world is, how blessed I am to do the work I do. From 3 days working with amazing young leaders from the UK, US, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, India, and Pakistan through Seeds of Peace to a wonderful fireside chat in conversation Shamil Thakrar and Eva Armour at Dishoom in London, to 2-days with YPO in Dubai, I am simultaneously blown away by the diversity and sameness of humanity. As I woke this morning (at 2:00am EST because of jet lag), I was delighted that the my guest appearance w/ Andrew Marshall on The Meaningful Life dropped today. It helped remind me of how important it is to do what is in my power to make my short life on the planet as meaningful as my gifts and limitations allow. https://lnkd.in/eS7fxhgR

Seeds of Peace has concluded the 2026 South Asia Regional Leadership Camp in Sri Lanka. For two weeks, 40 young leaders from India and Pakistan participated in a structured leadership program designed to build practical capacity for navigating difference: emotional awareness, collaboration under pressure, and responsibility within a group. One afternoon captured the program’s approach particularly clearly. Campers began with a facilitated nature walk led by counselor Kunal. The exercise was intentionally simple: move slowly, pause often, pay attention. The goal, as Kunal explained, “was to teach the campers about coexistence without the use of political language, and letting nature do the diplomacy.” Later that same day, those insights were applied in practice. Through group challenges with clear constraints, campers worked through real-time decisions, shifting roles, and collective problem-solving—examining how leadership functions within a group, not just in theory. This pairing of reflection and action is central to Seeds of Peace’s model. Leadership skills are practiced, tested, and reinforced over time. This camp, modeled after the Seeds of Peace Camp, is one step in a longer leadership journey, supported by a global community committed to sustained peacebuilding.

“Treaties are negotiated by governments, but peace is made by people.” –Seeds of Peace founder John Wallach After two years of devastating loss in our Israeli and Palestinian communities, today we receive more hopeful news: a ceasefire that appears to be holding as more captives are freed. John’s words, spoken three decades ago, ring truer than ever. We have seen what happens when peace between people is neglected. Building a real peace, with safety and freedom for all, depends on recognizing each other’s shared humanity. May we remember that this work happens not just at negotiation tables, but in the hearts, classrooms, and communities of people willing to listen, connect, and rebuild—together. And this is the moment to grow and deepen it. Get involved with building the future: https://lnkd.in/gTFy5sgY #SeedsOfPeace #Peacebuilding #Leadership #MiddleEast #Dialogue #Hope
