SCHEELS is proud to display the POW/MIA Missing Man Table in honor of our missing soldiers in arms. The table is round - to show our everlasting concern. The tablecloth is white, symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call to serve. The single red rose reminds us of the lives of these Americans....and the loved ones and friends who keep the faith, awaiting answers. The yellow ribbon symbolizes our continued uncertainty, hope for their return and determination to account for them. A slice of lemon reminds us of their bitter fate, captured or missing in a foreign land. A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears of our missing and their families. The lighted candle reflects our hope for their return. The bound text is a book of faith to represent the strength gained through devotion to sustain those lost from our country. The glasses are inverted - to symbolize their inability to share a toast. The chair is empty - they are missing.

Some associates from the SCHEELS Campus recently volunteered at the HOPE Inc. sled hockey fundraiser in Moorhead. Our team assisted with registration and waivers, fitting participants with helmets and sleds, and keeping score throughout the games. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event in the community!

Every weekday, @Valley Senior Services delivers hot, nutritious Meals on Wheels to more than 1,400 seniors across the counties they serve, supporting adults age 60+ who are home-bound and meet eligibility requirements. Our campus team is honored to support this mission by volunteering each week to help deliver meals, ensuring seniors not only receive nourishment, but also a friendly face and a meaningful connection. Not only is it Valentine’s Day, it’s also National Ferris Wheel Day 🎡❤️ In 2004, our Omaha store introduced the first SCHEELS Ferris Wheel, reimagining what a retail experience could look like. Today, 17 of our locations feature a Ferris wheel, creating moments customers never forget. But the real magic isn’t the wheel itself, it’s the people on it. Like Gene and Dorothy, who have been married 62 years and recently took a ride together. Moments like that are exactly why we continue to invest in experiences where memories are made. #scheels #nationalferriswheelday #valentinesday
