  • The lunchroom at our Coquitlam office felt a little more like home this week. 🌏 We held a multicultural potluck to appreciate our global community, and since it fell on Earth Day, it was the perfect time to celebrate the global flavors that our planet provides. Every dish told a story, bringing together family traditions and cultural favorites in one incredible spread! A huge thank you to everyone who spent time in their kitchens to share a piece of their cuisine with us. We also want to give a big shout-out to the team who organized the event and everyone who helped capture and share these photos so we could hold onto the memories! 📸 If you need us, we’ll be in a food coma until further notice. 😋 #SafeFleet #EarthDay #CompanyCulture #TeamBuilding #MulticulturalPotluck #LifeAtWork

We had a fantastic day at the OTE - Ontario Transportation Expo in Toronto connecting with school bus operators and district leaders to discuss the evolving landscape of student safety. Our booth was buzzing with conversations around some of the biggest hurdles in student transportation today—specifically tackling illegal pass-bys and improving fleet visibility. It’s always rewarding to show how our latest video and stop-arm technology can turn those challenges into manageable solutions. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth to chat about the future of the industry. We’re heading home feeling inspired by your commitment to keeping students safe. Missed the show? • Whether you manage a School Bus or Transit fleet, the goal is the same: moving from reactive monitoring to active driver advocacy. 🚌🚍 In the latest Safety INsight Newsletter from Safe Fleet for School Bus, we explore how a school district with a 200-bus operation used a pilot of Duet™ AI—our AI-powered driver coaching system—to transform raw data into a roadmap for a new kind of safety culture. Check out the 5 strategic lessons on how real-time coaching provides a professional shield for drivers while increasing passenger safety. 👇 #SafeFleet #TransitSafety #SchoolBus #DriverCoaching #AIinSafety #FleetManagement

Is your school bus fleet data giving you the full story? 🚌🔍 When this school district launched a pilot of Duet™ AI—an intelligent driver coaching system—they expected to see the standard metrics like speeding and harsh braking. What they discovered was a roadmap for a new kind of safety culture. By moving beyond passive video within their 200-bus operation, district leadership uncovered specific behavioral trends that were previously invisible. The results shifted the narrative from routine monitoring to active mentorship, providing a professional shield for drivers while increasing student safety. In the latest edition of our Safety INsight Newsletter, we break down the 5 strategic lessons learned from this pilot, including: ✅ The Power of Real-Time Coaching: Why drivers adjusted their habits the moment an alert sounded—often before a manager ever saw the footage. ✅ The Advocacy Shift: How the district successfully transitioned the technology into a platform for professional support and driver protection. ✅ Context Over Raw Data: Why the "why" behind a driving event matters more than the "what." Stop reacting to incidents and start preventing them with proactive coaching. Every day, millions of people trust transit workers to get them to work, school, and home safely. To celebrate the professionals behind those journeys, we are kicking off "Transit Worker and Operator Appreciation Week" by sharing real stories of heroism. 📕The Story: Transit driver Ambrose Young was finishing his route during a massive Minnesota snowstorm when he spotted a nine-year-old boy alone in the road, tugging on a car door handle. Recognizing the danger and knowing schools were closed that day, Ambrose convinced the boy to board the warm bus. He soon discovered the child was non-verbal and had wandered fifteen blocks away from home. By staying alert and contacting transit control immediately, Ambrose ensured the boy was safely reunited with his family. With Transit Worker and Operator Appreciation Day coming up this Wednesday, now is the perfect time to plan a "thank you" for your team. We’ve put together a list of 6 low-cost ideas for Transit Employee Appreciation Day to help you get started: ➡️ https://loom.ly/XCRUGRM 📖 Watch Young’s full story here: https://loom.ly/7PDU5_4 💡 Learn more about our work in Transit: https://loom.ly/JPifd34 #TransitWorkerAppreciation #TransitHeroes #SafeFleet #InnovationInMotion #PublicTransit
