Ulta Beauty is working on massive expansion for 2027. The beauty retailer is expanding its logistics footprint with a massive new facility in the Western United States. Ulta plans to open a 395,000-square-foot regional distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This eighth facility plans to use AutoStore technology to improve fulfillment productivity and reduce costs. The Salt Lake City distribution center aims to shorten delivery times by up to one day for 180 stores across the Pacific Northwest and Mountain Plains regions. AI-led job interviews are causing job seekers to walk away from application processes. A Greenhouse survey revealed 38% of job candidates abandoned job opportunities if they were interviewed by a bot. You’ve got mail. The U.S. Postal Service is opening 14 new sorting and delivery centers across 12 states through July. These large-scale hubs consolidate functions from smaller facilities to increase reliability and integrate electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Local Post Offices remain open for retail services, with these new locations serving as designated drop-off points for commercial shippers to streamline the delivery process.
