  • At our communities, support goes beyond housing. Many of our teams have organized on-site food pantries in partnership with local organizations to help ensure residents have access to essential resources when they need them most. These efforts are driven by the dedication of our team members and the strong relationships they’ve built within their local communities. It’s a meaningful example of how small initiatives can make a big impact. We’re proud of our teams for leading with care and helping create supportive, connected communities. #RiverstoneCommunities #fooddrives #livingthemission #care #homesweetRiverstone

  • As we near the end of Women’s History Month, we’re continuing to highlight the stories of the women whose leadership, experience, and dedication help guide our organization every day. Today we’re featuring Elizabeth Yurgens, Director of Operations, who has been with Riverstone since 2013 and brings nearly two decades of property management experience! Elizabeth began her career in the industry in 2005 as an entry-level Sales Consultant at an apartment community. Before joining Riverstone, she had interviewed with the company two years earlier as a “bench candidate.” When the opportunity opened for a Regional Manager, she jumped at the chance to join an organization whose mission and core values aligned with her very own. Early in her Riverstone career, her region shifted within just a few months. She was always open to taking on new communities acquired and would change regions whenever needed. These experiences helped her deepen her knowledge of the Mobile Home industry and build relationships across the company. It helped her grow into an Area Vice President and led to her becoming the Director of Operations.  Elizabeth believes leadership is about balancing high standards with genuine care for people. It means being direct yet kind, and setting clear expectations while supporting her team so they can succeed.  She’s passionate about teaching and using Crucial Conversations skills to navigate challenges with clarity and respect. The work done matters because it affects people’s homes and lifestyles. She wants the residents to feel proud of where they live and the Riverstone teams to feel proud of where they work. Known by her team as “Mary Poppins,” Elizabeth brings positive energy and lots of fun to Riverstone, believing that while the work is important, celebrating wins and maintaining strong team camaraderie matter just as much! Fun fact: Elizabeth grew up as an Army brat and attended 10 different schools in 12 years, an experience that taught her how to adapt quickly, build relationships, and earn trust wherever she goes. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInLeadership #WomenWhoLead #RiverstoneCommunities

  • As we continue celebrating Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting the stories of the women whose leadership and dedication help move Riverstone forward! Today, we’re featuring Shannon Sawchuk, Risk Management Liaison & Acquisition Analyst, who has been with Riverstone for more than 17 years. Shannon joined Riverstone in 2008 after pivoting from real estate sales during a major market shift. In a twist that feels fitting today, she discovered the opportunity through a Facebook post shared by a mutual friend. What started as a Property Operations Manager role has grown into a career that has evolved alongside the organization. Over the years, Shannon has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, from supporting leadership operations and coordinating our annual Manager Meeting to working in acquisitions, operational due diligence, easement coordination, and lease documentation. Most recently, her role has expanded to include risk management, incident response, and support with insurance and legal matters. For Shannon, one of the most meaningful parts of her career has been the opportunity to continue learning and growing. She believes growth isn’t defined only by titles, but by the chance to develop new skills, explore different parts of the industry, and collaborate with talented teammates along the way. She views leadership as showing up with honesty and consistency, listening to what people need, and working side-by-side to solve problems. Creating an environment where people feel supported and confident to grow is something she values deeply. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys cooking, playing golf, tackling daily word games like Wordle and Connections, and spending time with her long-standing book club. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInLeadership #WomenWhoLead

  • As we continue celebrating Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight the remarkable women who help lead and shape our organization. Today, we’re featuring Dawn Stackpoole, Chief Financial Officer, who has been with Riverstone for 11 years. Dawn joined the company as Director of Finance, stepping into the role as the former CFO transitioned toward retirement. Since then, she has played an instrumental role in strengthening our financial operations and building a high-performing team. Dawn shares that her greatest accomplishment isn’t a single milestone. It’s her team! She is most proud of their growth, achievements, and the consistently high-quality work they produce. To Dawn, leadership means leading by example through integrity, accountability, and consistency. She believes in being approachable, recognizing individual strengths, and creating opportunities that challenge her team to grow, all while supporting them every step of the way. Outside of work, Dawn recently picked up pickleball and loves it! We’re grateful for the steady leadership, dedication, and excellence she brings to our organization every day! Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the women who lead us forward. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInLeadership #RiverstoneCommunities

  • In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight the incredible women who lead, inspire, and shape our organization every day. Throughout this month, we’ll be sharing the stories behind our all-women leadership team, their journeys, accomplishments, and what leadership means to them. We’re kicking off the series with Hillary Snyder, Chief Human Resources Officer, who has been with Riverstone for 13 years: Hillary joined Riverstone after applying for an HR Manager role online, and after a long hiring process (and tracking down the President of the Company for an update!), the rest is history. Starting as a team of one, she built the HR department from the ground up. One of her proudest accomplishments is developing the strong, people-centered HR team we have today and helping shape the culture that defines Riverstone. To Hillary, leadership means leading with humility and courage. Creating psychological safety, embracing growth (and failure), holding yourself and others accountable, and building a team that’s even better than you are. She believes in minimizing drama, having crucial conversations, supporting total wellness, and most importantly, enjoying the work. She uplifts her team by being present, recognizing accomplishments big and small, supporting all aspects of well-being, and yes, occasionally providing chocolate. Outside of work, Hillary loves traveling, practicing yoga, reading, and making meaningful memories with her kids. #RiverstoneCommunities #womenshistorymonth #leadershipteam
