  • Beaker has been voted Team Member of the Month twice. When a robot becomes part of the team, it means the team actually relies on it. Beaker, a Relay robot, quietly navigates BayCare Health System's ICU corridors, rides the elevator alone, and delivers lab specimens around the clock so nurses don't have to. As Craig Anderson, VP of Innovation, says, "Beaker reflects our commitment to innovation by using technology in smart, secure ways to help our care teams and thus help our patients.” Connect with Relay Robotics today to learn more, today: https://lnkd.in/eaEPgzZQ #HospitalInnovation  #FutureOfCare

  • Lab turnaround time is a critical metric in intensive care. Faster results mean faster clinical decisions. BayCare Health System saw a measurable improvement in turnaround times after deploying a Relay robot in their units—not by adding staff, but by removing the manual transport leg entirely. Beaker, a Relay robot, autonomously delivers specimens from the ICU, CVICU, and dialysis units to the lab, freeing nurses from a task that pulls them away from the bedside dozens of times per shift. "This has really been an improvement in turnaround times, as well as team members being able to stay at patients' bedsides," said Lab Manager Nicole Fisher. Small workflow changes can mean big clinical impact. Learn more about Relay Delivery Robots: https://lnkd.in/eB_bkA7V #HealthcareOperations  #ClinicalEfficiency

Every minute an ICU nurse spends walking to the lab is a minute away from a patient's bedside. That's why BayCare Health System put Beaker, a Relay robot, to work in their ICU, CVICU, and dialysis units. Beaker makes 40–60 lab specimen deliveries a day, navigating hallways, secure doors, and elevators completely autonomously. The result? Care teams stay where they're needed most. "Having all of our team members having to run their individual labs takes a lot of time away from our patients. With Beaker, he drops off our labs for us — and that was just so much time saved." • In a small hospital, every person on a unit counts. At IU Health Tipton, when one team member leaves to make a hand delivery, that can represent a quarter or even half of the unit's staff. That's the daily reality for smaller healthcare facilities navigating workforce shortages, and it's exactly the gap Relay Delivery Robots are built to close. With the medical field facing ongoing shortages of pharmacists and nurses, IU Health North Medical Center and IU Health Tipton are getting ahead of the problem by using Relay Delivery Robots to handle medication transport and lab sample delivery, so clinical staff can stay on their units, focused on patients. No job is being replaced. Gaps are simply being filled by the one team member who's always available, always on time, and never needs a break. The question for your facility isn't whether this works. It's how soon do you get started? Connect with Relay Robotics today to learn more, today: https://lnkd.in/eaEPgzZQ #HealthcareAutomation #HospitalOperations #HealthcareInnovation

35 to 45 days. Every single year. That's how much time IU Health Tipton and IU Health North Medical Center staff were spending on hand deliveries alone, walking medications and lab samples between units, floor by floor, all year long. Time away from patients and critical clinical work. Relay Delivery Robots now handle those deliveries at both facilities, giving that time back to the nurses, pharmacists, and lab technicians who need it most. With a 99%+ delivery completion rate and best-in-class navigation in crowded spaces, the robots keep things moving so staff can stay exactly where they're needed: with the patients. • A few IU Health team members don't wear scrubs. 🤖 IU Health North Medical Center in Indianapolis and IU Health Tipton use Relay Delivery Robots to handle medication and lab sample deliveries throughout their facilities. The robots work alongside pharmacy and lab teams, navigating hallways, calling elevators, and moving between floors entirely on their own. And yes, they even call the elevators themselves. Using a combination of Wi-Fi signals and barometric pressure readings between floors, the robot knows exactly where it is and where it needs to go. Staff watch the elevator button light up, as if someone pushed it, and smile every time. It's the kind of moment that makes you realize: the future of hospital operations isn't coming. It's already here, standing in front of the elevator bank. Watch the Relay Delivery Robots in action: https://lnkd.in/e2DnxgDc #HealthcareAutomation #HospitalOperations #HealthcareInnovation

  • Nurse burnout is one of the most serious challenges facing hospital systems today. Every task that pulls a clinical staff member away from the bedside is time and energy that can't be recovered. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital recognized this and put Luke, their Relay Delivery Robot, to work delivering chemotherapy medication so their nursing and pharmacy staff could stay focused on patient care. Relay Robots are designed to give time back to staff by handling deliveries—reducing burnout and attrition in environments where every skilled team member counts. In addition to MedStar Georgetown, over 30 other leading hospital systems are already deploying this solution across their facilities. The workforce problem isn't waiting. Neither should your solution. Connect with Relay Robotics today to learn more, today: https://lnkd.in/eaEPgzZQ   #HealthcareAutomation #HospitalOperations #HealthcareInnovation
