About us
Radiant is building the world’s first mass-produced portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1 MW failsafe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed. Founded in 2020, Radiant plans to test its first reactor in 2026, with initial customer deployments beginning in 2028.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission launched accelerated review of our 10 CFR Part 70 special nuclear material license. A Part 70 license will allow us to assemble, fuel, and test our Kaleidos reactors at our factory before shipping nationwide. Acceptance of our Part 70 license is a key regulatory milestone that keeps us on track to build the nation’s first commercial nuclear microreactor factory. As a next step, the NRC will carry out environmental, safety, and security reviews of our factory. Full release in the comments

Great visit with the Urenco USA team last week. We were also honored to host their Urenco's Chairman recently at our HQ. Our Kaleidos Demonstration Unit is taking shape as we prepare for testing later this summer at the Idaho National Laboratory DOME. Excited to share these moments with our partners. Together, we’re making advanced nuclear power a reality.
