The Quantum Consortium®

About us

The Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED C®) is an industry-driven consortium managed by SRI International with the mission to support a robust U.S. QIST industry and related supply chain. QED-C is supported by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the U.S. Department of Commerce and more than 250 members, including more than 130 U.S. corporations from across the quantum supply chain including component suppliers/manufacturers, software and hardware system developers, service providers and end users. Today, QED-C has support from and a diverse community of industry, academic, and other stakeholders. QED-C participants are working together to identify gaps in technology, standards, and workforce and to collaboratively address those gaps through roadmaps and pre-competitive, sponsored research. Participants engage in webinars, workshops, policy discussions, and other activities led by Technical Advisory Committees (TACs); conduct sponsored research; and network at QED-C plenary meetings. Membership is open to corporations, academic institutions, and other entities related to the quantum industry and its supply chain. By becoming a member, your organization will be invited to participate in QED-C activities.
