Designed as a playful dessert bakery, the event featured interactive fragrance testing stations, photo-ready décor, and drew a mix of beauty creators, influencers, and industry insiders. The launch highlighted Lattafa’s reputation for high-quality, affordable niche-style perfumes and its growing influence in the global gourmand fragrance trend.     Livestream shopping is having its moment, and Industry City tenant Puff Media is right at the center of it. Digiday reports that live shopping, where creators sell products directly to audiences via livestream, has surged in 2025. Platforms like Whatnot and TikTok Shop are breaking sales records, with some creators generating millions of dollars in sales of products in a single day. An entire ecosystem of production studios is rising to meet this demand, and Industry City is where some of the most innovative players are making it happen. From their Industry City base, Puff Media has "become a hub for creators' live shopping activity," producing high-impact events for brands like Peter Thomas Roth Clinical Skin Care and Oudware. Their July 24 “Mega Live” for Peter Thomas Roth brought in seven-digit sales in just one day. Puff’s rapid growth tells the story: since opening in 2021, they’ve expanded twice, most recently into a 15,000-square-foot space, proving how Industry City tenants are reimagining their spaces to stay on the cutting edge.   • This past Friday, the Puff Team had the pleasure of attending the NYX Professional Makeup Smushy Mart event in SoHo, a bold, interactive pop-up celebrating the launch of NYX’s new Smushy Matte Lip Balm. From the second we stepped into the immersive "bodega-style" setup, it was clear NYX brought their A-game, blending creativity, color, and community. We explored 12 new scented shades, hit up the Smushy photo booth, and met some lovely creators. Proud to see how beauty and content are evolving side by side, and even prouder to be a part of the ecosystem driving it.
