  • The PTx Trimble OutRun platform has been awarded the Davidson Prize for Agricultural Innovation for a second consecutive year at Commodity Classic. In 2025, OutRun earned recognition for its autonomous grain cart operations, helping farmers make better use of labor resources during critical harvest windows. This year, the platform expands into autonomous tillage, allowing farmers to utilize tractors they already own for driverless operations so they can focus on other time-sensitive tasks. OutRun demonstrates the growing role of autonomy across the full crop cycle, optimizing field efficiency, improving timing for agronomic practices, and supporting farmers as they work toward a more productive, technology-enabled operation. This back-to-back recognition highlights the PTx team’s commitment to innovation and real-world solutions that make a meaningful difference on the farm.

  • We're in San Antonio, TX this week at Commodity Classic! Join us in the PTx booth #1681 for these educational sessions live from the stage, plus visit with our team and see the portfolio of PTx Trimble products.

  • This week at the National Farm Machinery Show, PTx Trimble Systems Engineer Avery Simundsson joined a panel discussion on autonomy and the role it plays in modern farming. One point stood out: “Keeping things within the agronomic window yields major benefits for the farm. Doing tasks in the field too early or too late causes losses. Autonomy provides farmers the flexibility to hit the optimum agronomic window.” Autonomy isn’t about replacing people. It’s about helping growers protect yield potential when timing matters most, whether that’s spring tillage, fall work or harvest pressure. When weather shifts and labor is tight, flexibility becomes one of the most valuable tools on the farm. OutRun was built with that reality in mind. • At AGRITECHNICA 2025, PTx collaborated with DLG Group and prototype.club to host a hackathon challenge that put innovation to the test in real time. Seven agtech startups were tasked with designing an algorithm to determine the optimal path planning across a field. Each team visualized their computed paths and key metrics llike fuel use, working time and total distance, then proved their solution live with new field data and machine configurations. Congratulations to Verge Agriculture for developing a forward-thinking approach to efficiency and sustainability in modern agriculture!

  • Farm Progress Show 2025 is officially in the books! ✅ Last week, we were proud to showcase how PTx Trimble is helping farmers connect their entire operation, whether in the field, in the office or on the go. One of the biggest highlights: the launch of PTx FarmENGAGE™, our next-generation farm operations management software. With FarmENGAGE, growers can simplify fleet management, job monitoring and data flow across every brand and machine year, using the equipment they already own. It’s all about delivering simplicity, connectivity and control to help you run a smarter, more efficient farm. A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, explored new solutions, and connected with our team working behind the scenes to bring these innovations to life.
