Promptwatch doubled its revenue in just 3 months! 12 months ago, Klaas Foppen & myself set the platform live and now we’ve passed €2M ARR. Looking back over the last 3 months, it feels like a year (in a good way). While growing from €1M → €2M ARR: - Our GTM motion grew even more with Thibaud Guenneuguès solidifying our presence in the French market, Claudia Serrano helping us taking our Marketing even further, & Kavita Mer to set up our Customer Success team to help our users get the most out of the platform - Increased our development capacity with Jon Tarrant who shipped our API & 360 Insights. - Jose Nikolai A. & Diana Stankovicova help more companies make AI Search their next revenue channel - Nathan Necciai organized the best booth at this past edition of brightonSEO - Saw Pieter Boerboom built a world class MCP - Jordy van den Aardweg who continues to build the best Content Agent in the industry - Shipped an insane amount of new features across the platform to show businesses exactly how AI discovers & mentions their brand - Moved into (another) office to house everyone - Started the Promptwatch Run Club - Are still looking for the best coffee machine - & I even grew a moustache But what I’m most proud of is the team & the culture we’ve built here from our Amsterdam office. This milestone continues to show that business care about how AI describes their brand and are able to turn AI Search into an additional revenue channel. If you’re looking to join a team that works hard and has a lot fun while doing it, we’re hiring for: - Business Development Representative, come be apart of one of the strongest GTM engines in Europe. - Product Designer, shape the usability of the platform helping companies be at the forefront of the highest intent search channel - Senior Full Stack Engineer, build & expand the leading AI Search platform on the market

Content Agent just got better. You can now upload briefs, focus keywords, and negative keywords directly into Promptwatch. More context in means better content out. The agent already draws on citation data, agentic analytics, and tone of voice. Your own inputs are now part of that picture too. And with Page Tracker now integrated into Content Agent, you can see exactly how your content performs after it's live. Available to all Promptwatch users now. Watch it in action below. Big shoutout to the development team for this one: Klaas Foppen, Jon Tarrant, Jordy van den Aardweg, & Pieter Boerboom

We approached the development of Promptwatch's MCP with 2 goals: Eliminate "busy-work" in AI Search Enable actionability to improve presence in AI Search Here's what this means in practice: Understanding your brand or client's position in AI Search results, when competitors are outranking them, citation analysis, all of the metrics that matter in AI Search, all just one prompt away. But we didn't want the experience to be just another reporting platform. This is where we focused on actionability. Based on the results of your analysis, we wanted your next step to also be one prompt away. For example: You see your competitors gaining more visibility, you can access Content Agent from the MCP, upload a brief, negative keywords, tone of voice, and immediately have content to help your presence in AI Search. For teams that have a content scheduler that also has an MCP, they're able to automatically push the content into their scheduler. This is just one example that we see users doing with our MCP. If you're interested in more tips make sure to follow Promptwatch as Nathan Necciai will be sharing a lot of tips and workflows he is using and hears from our users!

Your website's CDN holds a lot of untapped growth opportunity for AI Search. If you aren't already acting on this data, let me explain. With Promptwatch, you're able to see all the agentic traffic on your website, in real-time. It's a powerful tool for any marketer wanting to see how their content influences AI responses. When users ask AI models for a recommendation, these agents get sent out looking for the answer, and if your content isn't found, your competitor is going to be recommended. You need to make sure these agents are able to access your content and track when it's being used in citations. Here's a 60-second explanation on how this process works.

Query fanouts weren't the only thing that disappeared when GPT 5.3 rolled out. Your chances of being cited in responses in ChatGPT also decreased by 26% We analyzed 1.3M in Promptwatch and found the average number of citations in each ChatGPT response dropped from 6.5 to 4.8. Your content strategy matters even more now as models become more strict with the number of citations and click data won't give you the full picture. You need to see which content on your site AI agents are able to find and which actually get used in Citations.

  • AI generated content and AI Search. Gijs de Groot & Nathan Necciai had a few questions come in during last week's live session on what the standpoint should be around using AI generated content for AI Search. Our viewpoint is simple. If you're just trying to "one-shot" content in ChatGPT, with no verification and then doing this at scale, it will not help. But if you make sure to use all the right data, the right inputs, and verify the content, then you can see real returns with this content. That's how we've built our Content Agent in Promptwatch. We combine all the CDN data of AI agents on your site, the content currently being cited, the content that drives real user clicks, along with research and internal link building agents, to deliver the best quality content for you to publish on your site. If you haven't tried our Content Agent yet, start a free trial today.

  • What should you focus on when starting out in AI Search optimization? Gijs de Groot & Nathan Necciai discussed this in our last live session. When starting out, focus on the content currently being cited in responses. If you're not being mentioned in the prompts you're tracking, then you need to understand why your competitors are being mentioned and see what type of content they have that is being cited. Start a free trial on Promptwatch to see which content types are being used in citations for your audience now.
