I spent the past two days at the Milken Institute Global Conference in a series of thoughtful, wide-ranging conversations with peers, clients, and leaders from across industries. We explored everything from the future of health and global portfolios to the accelerating impact of AI and what it means for the workforce ahead. Across panels, media discussions, and one-on-one conversations, I had the opportunity to share Principal Financial Group's perspective—but more importantly, to listen to powerful voices including: Christoph Schweizer, Almar Latour, Igor Tulchinsky, Jo Ling Kent, John Gerzema, Tony Robbins, Ryan Gellert, and AmirAli Talasaz. What stood out most is just how relevant and important our work continues to be. We are, at our core, in the business of trust. At a time when the world is navigating profound structural shifts, trust remains one of the most valuable currencies, regardless of industry. It must be consistently earned, carefully stewarded, and intentionally cultivated. I’m leaving this year’s conference energized and optimistic. Leaders are paying attention.
