“… When I think public service, providing a service to the people that I live next to and work with every day, I consider that it’s an honor, a privilege to give that back.” Meet Clyte Portis, Manager for the Prince William County Child Advocacy Center, where multidisciplinary services support children who have experienced abuse. Clyte’s passion for advocacy began at a young age. As a child, she was always the one standing up for others who were being bullied. Today, that same passion drives her work supporting child victims and their families, helping children share their stories and connecting families with the resources they need.
