Yesterday, I received an email from the company I currently work for about International HR Day, and honestly, I had completely forgotten it was yesterday. But seeing that email also reminded me that this month I completed 10 years working in HR. It’s funny to think about how it all started. Ten years ago, I didn’t even know what HR really was. I started my career as an apprentice and was placed in the HR department without knowing if that was what I wanted for my future. Somehow, I ended up falling in love with it… and here I am, 10 years later. HR is such a dynamic area. It changes all the time. It’s a field that constantly connects business needs with people’s needs, and that balance is what makes it both challenging and meaningful. When I stop and think about how HR was 10 years ago compared to today, it’s incredible to see how much has changed — new processes, new technologies, improvements that made life easier for everyone, and a completely different way of seeing people within organizations. Throughout these years, I’ve learned a lot, grown a lot, and evolved alongside the profession. And even after all this time, I can still say: I truly love what I do. —— Ontem eu recebi um e-mail da empresa onde trabalho atualmente sobre o International HR Day e, sinceramente, eu tinha até esquecido que era ontem. Mas ver aquele e-mail também me fez lembrar que este mês eu completei 10 anos trabalhando com RH. É engraçado pensar em como tudo começou. Há 10 anos, eu nem sabia direito o que era a área de RH. Comecei minha trajetória como aprendiz e fui colocada no departamento sem saber se era realmente aquilo que eu queria para o meu futuro. De alguma forma, acabei me apaixonando pela área… e aqui estou, 10 anos depois. RH é uma área muito dinâmica. Está em constante mudança. É uma profissão que conecta o negócio com as pessoas o tempo todo, e justamente esse equilíbrio é o que torna tudo tão desafiador e ao mesmo tempo tão significativo. Quando eu paro para pensar em como o RH era há 10 anos e comparo com o que é hoje, é incrível ver o quanto mudou — novos processos, novas tecnologias, melhorias que facilitaram a vida de todos e uma forma completamente diferente de enxergar as pessoas dentro das organizações. Ao longo desses anos, aprendi muito, cresci muito e evoluí junto com a profissão. E mesmo depois de todo esse tempo, eu ainda posso dizer: eu realmente amo o que faço. #PrideGlobal #WorldHRDay
