Another day, another milestone 🚁💛 Earlier this year Flight Paramedic Rhonda G. was recognized for her 5 years of dedicated service serving Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, impacting the lives of patients every day.

PHI Air Medical teams have strong relationships with hospitals across the country, built on shared commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients and trust that is earned with every flight. This National Hospital Week we recognize the 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, and others who provide care to their communities across our country. Through rapid air transport, PHI Air Medical is able to connect patients in remote areas to the advanced care they need, stabilizing and monitoring patients until they arrive at the hospital.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the Trans Aero MedEvac team following the tragic incident involving their fixed-wing aircraft. The loss is deeply felt within the PHI Family, as we share a strong bond with those who dedicate their lives to this service.

It’s National Hospital Week 🏥 PHI Air Medical is proud to partner with hospitals across the country to deliver patients to the advanced care they need. In addition to providing rapid transport for those in critical condition, our teams also provide inter-hospital transfer and help those in remote areas access hospital services and care.

This Mother’s Day, we recognize the Air Evac team out of Phoenix, Arizona which provides specialized, high-risk maternal and neonatal air transport, focusing on critical care for premature infants and expectant mothers. LeAnn M., a Maternal Flight Nurse at Air Evac with more than 5,500 patient transports under her belt, emphasized: “It cannot be understated how important Air Ambulance services are for mothers and young babies across the state. Our base at Phoenix Sky Harbor is the only base that specializes in transporting mothers and babies for Arizona.
