Last month, members of our dental leadership team joined more than 400 dental executives from around the world in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for the 2026 Enterprise Dental Connect event. Patterson Dental was the headline partner for this two-day conference, which included speakers from all walks of the dental business sharing their thoughts, ideas, and direction for the future of the industry. Dental President Patrik Eriksson was one of the featured keynote speakers, underscoring Patterson’s position as a thought leader in the dental space. We remain grateful and energized to have been part of this engaging and successful event!

This past week, we officially wished a fond farewell to George Henriques, who retired from his role as president of Patterson Veterinary Supply on Friday, May 8. George has been a pillar of our organization for more than 25 years, dating back to his time as president and chief information officer at Webster Veterinary Supply, which became Patterson Veterinary in 2015. To celebrate, leaders from Loveland, Colorado as well as branch managers from all over the country came together for a special dinner. George has made a significant, positive impact both on Patterson and on our employees over the past two plus decades, and we wish him nothing but the best in his next chapter. Thank you, George!

The #PattersonFoundation recently applied our core company value of “always advancing” to its grantmaking strategy, with the launch of Signature Grants, marking an evolution in how we support nonprofits. This invitation‑only grant opportunity provides a one‑time $60,000 award, which will support capacity building, organizational growth, and expanded access in the fields of dental care and assistance dog training. By increasing both the size and depth of the Foundation’s investments, Signature Grants represent an intentional step toward deeper, more holistic relationships. In total for Q1, the Patterson Foundation awarded nearly $250,000 in grants, which includes Signature Grant recipients Can Do Canines Assistance Dogs and Community Smiles Dental - Wisconsin, along with 13 additional nonprofits.

We are pleased to welcome Anish Patankar as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Dental Software. This new leadership role represents a critical investment in our future, and ultimately our ability to best serve our customers. Anish has over 20 years of experience building and scaling enterprise healthcare software businesses, with a proven record of managing software portfolios, modernizing legacy platforms, and driving growth. Of the appointment, Dental President Patrik Eriksson shares, “I’m thrilled about the expertise and experience Anish will bring to our organization. His role will help us accelerate innovation in the dental marketplace.” Anish currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area of California, where he enjoys hiking with his kids, reading, and playing badminton.

Today is #EarthDay, an annual event that demonstrates support for environmental protection. At Patterson, we do our best to focus on sustainability all year long. Recently, Girard Goder, our Director of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability, joined together with leaders from Patterson and Patient Square Capital at our fulfillment center in Dinuba, California, to take a look at some of their sustainability initiatives and seek opportunities to scale their success to other locations. Highlights included a tour of the 2,700-panel solar generation system installed on the roof of the FC, a package consolidation initiative which has now been rolled out to all of our FCs, and a stormwater collection pond. We can hardly believe it, but it has been nearly one year to the day since Patterson Companies was acquired by Patient Square Capital and we welcomed Robert Rajalingam as CEO.
