What if your patients recovered faster without adding work to your team? Join us May 28th at 1pm ET for our webinar, "Improving Patient Recovery Through Perioperative Nutrition." Learn how South Bend Orthopaedics built a fully automated perioperative nutrition pathway for joint replacement patients. From pre-op carb loading through post-op recovery, they delivered consistent care without adding a single burden to their clinical staff. 208 patients enrolled. 78.7% reported high satisfaction. 85% of post-market device studies miss their enrollment timelines. It's rarely about the science. It's almost always about what happens at the site level: the coordinators managing a second system, the surgeons handed a tablet mid-clinic, the patients who never received automated outreach. Our Director of Clinical Research, Alyse Borelli, MPH, CCRP is hosting a free webinar on exactly this. Designing a Post-Market Clinical Study That Actually Enrolls: Lessons from Orthopedic & Spine 📅 Wednesday, June 3rd at 1pm ET Alyse will cover: • What high-performing sites do differently • How EHR-native data collection changes coordinator burden and PRO response rates • A practical checklist for med dev teams designing post-market studies If you're running, planning, or funding a post-market study — this session is worth your hour. 👉 Register here: https://hubs.la/Q04gQhst0 #ClinicalResearch #MedicalDevice #PROs #ClinicalTrials

Does nutrition truly influence recovery after total joint arthroplasty? South Bend Orthopaedics (SBO) sought the answer and turned to PatientIQ to drive their research. Using our platform, SBO successfully: - Deployed the ENROUTE® perioperative nutrition program at strategic points throughout the patient care journey - Systematically gathered and assessed patient-reported outcomes (PROs) across their TJA population - Measured patient perception of how the nutrition intervention supported their healing 🔎 The research demonstrates how targeted nutritional support paired with high-quality PRO data accelerates clinical learning: https://bit.ly/4duHL0v #PROs #Orthopedics #ClinicalResearch #Nutrition

Nearly 800,000 Americans experience a stroke each year. Most face months or years of rehabilitation with outcomes that are difficult to predict and even harder to measure consistently. Clinicians track what they can observe. But the questions patients most want answered — "Will I get back to my life?" — have historically been the hardest to answer with data. This May, Stroke Awareness Month is a reminder that recovery doesn't end at discharge, and the clinical systems we build need to reflect that reality. 👉 What stroke recovery really looks like through the lens of PROs: https://bit.ly/4wxkLqo #StrokeAwarenessMonth #PatientReportedOutcomes #NeuroCare

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month! A good time to think about what's becoming possible in care delivery. When behavioral health measurement is integrated directly into a care pathway, clinical teams get a fuller picture of how their patients are actually recovering. Not just how the knee is healing, but how the patient is doing. The PHQ-9 gets administered plenty. The opportunity is making those insights available to the full care team, at the right moment, in the same workflow as physical outcomes. When that happens, early intervention becomes a lot more actionable. We wrote about what it takes to get there: https://bit.ly/48SFwme #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #PatientOutcomes #PROs

Happy National Nurses Day to the nurses and care teams who make outcomes measurement possible every day! PROs are one of the most valuable tools in healthcare. And the best PRO programs are the ones built to support the people running them, not add to their plate. We wrote about what that looks like in practice, and how health systems are designing programs that work for their clinical staff as much as their patients. 📖 https://bit.ly/4u6sUjR #NationalNursesWeek #NursesWeek2026 #PROs #ClinicalOperations

Much of the data behind clinical decisions was never designed to reflect the full complexity of real patients. Controlled trials are valuable, but they exclude the messy reality of everyday care: patients with multiple conditions, providers with different approaches, outcomes that vary by setting. Real world evidence changes that. And healthcare organizations that know how to generate it are gaining a serious edge, in research, regulatory conversations, and demonstrating value to payers. 🔎 We broke down what RWE actually is, where it comes from, and what it takes to collect it at scale: https://bit.ly/4n2Z9hk #RealWorldEvidence #RWE #PatientOutcomes

In 2027, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will make hospital PRO scores for hip and knee replacements publicly available. Patients will see them. Payers will see them. Referring providers will see them. Hospitals that haven't built a consistent, scalable PRO collection process by then won't just risk incomplete data submissions. They'll risk their reputation at the moment it becomes visible to everyone. And this is only the beginning. CMS has signaled that THA/TKA is the first of several PRO-PMs in development across other areas of care. The hospitals building their infrastructure now will be the ones with accurate data, refined workflows, and a real story to tell in 2027. The ones that wait will be scrambling. 👉 We broke down exactly what's coming, what compliance requires, and how to get ahead of it: https://bit.ly/4ctoMnS #CMS #PatientOutcomes #HealthcareCompliance #ValueBasedCare
