This week, in recognition of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, we are highlighting the teams whose work keeps people connected and that connectivity secure. At Padagis, that work is led by people like Tim Hoffard, IT Security Leader, and his team, who work behind the scenes to protect our people, data, and systems globally. From securing devices and internet access to managing credentials and multifactor authentication, their work helps keep operations running reliably worldwide. Tim is clear about where one of the biggest risks exists today: email. His advice is simple. Take a few extra seconds to hover over a link or sender address before clicking, and when in doubt, report it. As AI continues to accelerate threats on the adversary side, that pause matters more than ever. One thing Tim wants everyone to know is that IT Security is not the “no” team. Every recommendation comes from a place of care for Padagis’ people, data, and systems. As Tim puts it, security is a team sport, and every one of us plays a role. To Tim and the entire IT team at Padagis, thank you for the work you do every day to help keep our people and systems protected worldwide.
