Recently, we celebrated our Second Year Indianapolis Fellows at their Send Off Ceremony 🎉 Over the past two years, these Fellows have grown as leaders, coworkers, and friends while making a lasting impact on the Fellowship and the Indianapolis community. We also recognized Fellows who embodied the 4 C’s of the Orr Fellowship — Community, Commitment, Career, and Continued Learning 👏 We’re so proud of this class and can’t wait to see what’s next for each of them. 💙 #OrrFellowship #Indianapolis #PostGrad #LeadershipDevelopment

Pitch Comp Highlights 🥇 👏🏻 This past week, Evansville Orr Fellows took the stage at the University of Evansville for our Annual Pitch Competition. After weeks of collaboration, feedback and refinement, they finally got to bring their ideas to life. Each pitch showcased the bright, driven minds in this community. The next generation of leaders are tackling real-world challenges with innovative solutions. A huge congratulations to this year’s winners, Abigail Hornacek, Addison Evans, and William Morris, who took home the top prize with SafeSync—a proactive workplace safety solution. Their wearable ring monitors vital signs to detect early warning signs and help prevent overexertion and workplace incidents before they happen. Second place went to Ava Ackerman and Abby Hobrough with SocialFit, an app that turns working out into a shared experience by matching users with the right people, routines, and schedules to help them stay consistent and connected. Built from a shared passion for movement and community, it helps people in new cities or life stages find accountability through connection. What started as ideas evolved into compelling pitches! A special thank you to our judges— Logan Jenkins, Tyler Stock, MPA, and Tad Dickel, Ph.D. for their time, insight, and support in making this experience so impactful. We’re proud of our Fellows and we’re excited for this generation to continue shaping and strengthening the community with ideas like these. #OrrFellowship #PitchCompetition #Entrepreneurship

  • Getting our hands dirty for a greener Indy 🌱🌳 This past weekend, Indy Fellows teamed up with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful for a hands-on tree planting event in the College Park neighborhood. Together, we planted 50+ native trees to improve air quality, reduce carbon emissions, and beautify the community we call home. Making an impact alongside great people and investing in a greener future for our city 🌿 #OrrFellowship #IndyCommunity #TreePlantORRs #KeepIndyBeautiful #Sustainability #IndyEvents

  • Pitch Comp Champion 🏆 At our Annual Pitch Competition, Indianapolis Fellows took the stage to pitch business ideas they’ve been building through weeks of workshops, feedback, and iteration. From identifying real problems to crafting thoughtful solutions, each pitch showcased the innovation and drive within this community. A huge congratulations to this year’s winner, Owen Pittman, who took home the top prize with his venture, Pacer Running Company 👏 Pacer is a personalized running coaching platform designed to help runners of all levels reach their goals. Built from Owen’s own experience as a collegiate runner, this business combines passion, discipline, and a deep understanding of what it takes to improve and perform. We’re proud to celebrate Owen not only as our Pitch Competition Champion, but also as the founder of a growing company we’re excited to watch take off. #OrrFellowship #PitchCompetition #StartupJourney #Entrepreneurship #FounderStory #RunningCommunity

  • Our Indianapolis Orr Fellows headed down to Red River Gorge, KY for some much needed R&R, fresh air, and quality time together away from the office. Between the hikes, late night laughs, and bonding activities we had an absolute BLAST. Our chapter is feeling very grateful for this group and the moments that bring a little more balance to navigating life as a young professional. #springretreat #orrfellowship #indianapolis
