Managing one organization’s compliance program is one thing. An MSP managing compliance support for a dozen regulated clients simultaneously is a completely different operational beast. MSPs don’t have the luxury of inefficiency. If you want to grow, you need a way to make control mapping reusable and evidence collection a lifecycle, not a fire drill. We are proud to share this case study highlighting Ntiva’s partnership with IntelliGRC throughout our CMMC journey. Strong compliance outcomes don’t happen in silos. They require the right process, collaboration, and partners who understand the realities of regulated environments. Thank you to the IntelliGRC team for their support and partnership along the way.
Ntiva, Inc. needed to do two things at once: get CMMC-certified and build a compliance offering it could deliver to clients. We partnered with their team to develop a repeatable framework, validate evidence, review their GCC High environment, and shape a formalized service methodology. The result? CMMC Level 2 certification through an accredited C3PAO, and a scalable practice ready to serve defense contractors. Read the full case study here: https://hubs.li/Q04hlcnL0 Want to see how we make managing CMMC compliance simpler, from evidence tracking to assessment readiness, all in one platform? “Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.” -Oscar Wilde That quote has stuck with me lately. I think a lot of people spend years trying to become who they think they are supposed to be. Professional enough. Strong enough. Successful enough. Careful enough. Pretty enough. Cool enough. Over time, that can get exhausting. One thing I continue learning is that authenticity creates a different kind of energy. Not because someone is perfect, but because they are real. Owning what you care about. Owning your values. Owning your quirks. Owning your mistakes. Owning your growth. Owning the parts of yourself you once tried to hide. The more comfortable people become with themselves, the easier it becomes for others to do the same. That’s true in leadership, parenting, relationships, friendships, and company culture. The people I admire most tend to be the ones who stopped trying to impress everyone else.

Liability remains the primary concern for MSPs entering the regulated space. However, ignoring GRC does not mitigate risk; it often increases it. Under frameworks like CMMC, External Service Providers are part of the system boundary. When an MSP provides security functions, their internal posture directly impacts the client’s ability to achieve certification. Understanding this shared responsibility is the first step toward building a sustainable compliance practice. Learn more: https://hubs.li/Q04dymwc0

I used to roll my eyes at the phrase: “Your thoughts become your reality.” Honestly, it sounded a little ‘woo-woo’. Then I kept hearing it from people I respected. Not once. Not twice. Enough times that I finally paid attention. I was sitting in an airport after a board meeting in Indiana. My flight was delayed. I was tired. And for probably the seventh time in a few months, someone recommended Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza. So, I read it. It is not an easy book. It gets technical. Brain waves. Meditation. Breathwork. The science behind how we respond, react, and repeat the same emotional patterns over and over again. But the part that hit me was simple. I had spent a lot of time focusing on what I didn’t want. What problem is coming next? What client issue is about to happen? What employees are unhappy? What difficult conversation am I about to have? And when your mind lives there long enough, it starts scanning for proof. Kind of like buying a new car. You never noticed that model before. Then suddenly it is everywhere. Here’s the thing. The problems may still be real. But living in constant anticipation of them does not make you stronger. It just keeps you in reaction mode. So, I started trying to shift the question. Not: “What am I afraid will happen?” But: “What do I actually want to create?” That sounds small. It isn’t. Because the moment you get clear about what you want, you start seeing openings you were too distracted to notice before. I am still working on this. I still react when I want to respond. I still fall back into old patterns. But I am more convinced than ever that the stories we repeat in our own heads matter. They shape what we notice. They shape what we pursue. And eventually, they shape what we build. What thought pattern are you reinforcing right now without realizing it? #WeExistToGrowEachOther

As some DIB contractors are picking up the pieces after a #CMMC provider unexpectedly shut down, this post from our CEO, Steven Freidkin is a good reminder of why financial discipline and long-term thinking aren't just board-level concerns. They're a promise to every client who depends on you. At Ntiva, we don't take that lightly. If you're scrambling right now, we are a CMMC Level 2 certified partner here to help you stabilize and move forward. --- https://lnkd.in/ehW5vamT
I walked past this Spirit Airlines counter yesterday and paused for a minute. 34 years. Millions of passengers. Thousands of employees. And now, effectively gone. Spirit didn’t fail because people stopped flying. But when conditions changed, it didn’t have enough margin for error. Costs went up. Strategy shifted. Capital got tighter. The model couldn’t absorb it. There’s always more to the story. There usually is. But that moment made me think about my father. He was a CPA, and he drilled two things into me early: 1. If you cannot buy it with the cash you have, you cannot have it. 2. A customer commitment only matters once you have actually been paid. At the time, it felt conservative. Maybe even limiting. Over time, I have come to see it differently. That mindset is not about slowing growth. It is about surviving when things change. At Ntiva, Inc., we have grown for a long time. Year after year. Organically and through acquisitions. In the most recent decade, with the support of financial sponsors and the responsible use of debt. But the goal has never been growth at any cost. The goal is to still be here and adding value. For our team, our clients, and our communities. In technology and in business, things change fast. Markets shift. Costs move. Client needs evolve. Capital tightens. What looks strong in one moment can become fragile very quickly. Growth is exciting. Resilience is earned. Long-term trust is built by making sure you are still here when your employees and clients need you most. #WeExistToGrowEachOther
