A new era for Porsche Barrington is officially underway! We were proud to join Murgado Automotive Group to celebrate the groundbreaking of the future Porsche Barrington dealership. This impressive new facility will span 133,960 sq. ft. across two floors, with additional basement space dedicated to inventory and private vehicle storage. Once complete, it will be one of the largest Porsche dealerships in Illinois. Excited to bring this incredible vision from YSM Design, P.C. to life! Big thank you to Mario Murgado for allowing Nick Papanicholas, Jr. and Joey Mariconda to participate in the ceremonial dirt toss.

The best learning happens in the field! Last week, students from the Marquette Commercial Real Estate Club joined us for a stop on a broader tour at Pabst Farms, where they first explored the history of the site before diving into Wingspan Development Group’s vision for the 59 acres. During their visit, we walked through our overall master plan, with a closer look at The Frederick—our residential component of the development. Wingspan team member and Marquette alum Tom Ciezadlo shared insights on rent comps, the influence of incoming national retailers, and our pre-leasing strategy and timeline. Thank you to Brian Bell for organizing the tour, and to Nicholas & Associates, Inc. Superintendent Sam Donaldson for showing the group around the site!

A major milestone for The VUE-Elk Grove Village! Yesterday, we officially celebrated the opening of the new retail storefronts in Elk Grove Village. Thank you to everyone who came out to see the new homes of Tensuke Market & Food Court, Jarosch Bakery, Inc, Vini’s Pizza, and 7 Mile Cycles. A project like this takes an incredible team, and we’re grateful for our partners at Nicholas & Associates, Inc., Elk Grove Village, Studio 222 Architects, and Camburas & Theodore Architecture. We’re incredibly excited to continue bringing The VUE to life with 271 apartments and 16 townhomes on the way!

Big things are driving ahead in Tinley Park, IL! We are excited to partner with Rizza Cars for the first time on the addition and full remodel of Rizza Cadillac, bringing the dealership in line with Cadillac’s latest brand standards and elevating the customer experience from the ground up. The renovated 31,293 sq ft facility will feature a 1,300 sq ft showroom expansion, along with a comprehensive interior and exterior transformation. Updates include the installation of Cadillac’s signature ACM Boneline Panel System and a refreshed interior layout with new flooring, wall paneling, ceilings, and lighting throughout. We’re excited to continue building spaces that reflect the innovation and sophistication of the Cadillac brand. The new Elk Grove Ice Arena is coming together fast! Work is advancing both inside and outside as this twin-sheet facility continues to take shape. Crews are currently tackling HVAC and utility installations, with that work ongoing over the next few weeks. A new destination for ice sports is coming to the City of Westfield, Indiana, and the Nicholas Family of Companies is proud to help bring it to life. We’re excited to share that we’ve been selected as the developer for the new Westfield Ice Facility! This new multi-sheet indoor ice complex will showcase the full capabilities of the Nicholas Family of Companies, with Nicholas & Associates, Inc. building the facility, Spectate Group operating it, and Big Fish Hospitality Group delivering their signature food and beverage experience. What a year and what a team! Nicholas Sportsplex would like to congratulate Saint Viator High School Hockey Club for winning the Amateur Hockey Association Illinois (AHAI) State Championship on Friday night. 🏆 We’re proud to say that State Champions play at the Sportsplex! It was also a special win for Nicholas Family of Companies team members Tim Benz, Chris Benz, and John Sclafini, who helped lead the program to its first Varsity State Championship. Good luck in the 2026 Chipotle-USA Hockey National Championship!
