Today, NFBPA members were recognized among the 250 Champions in Public Service in Philadelphia ahead of the ICMA National Conference. The individuals who were named 250 Champions were nominated by a peer in public administration. The Local Gov 250 Coalition and the National Academy of Public Administration reviewed hundreds of submissions from all 50 states as well as Washington, D.C. and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, according to the aforementioned press release, which also includes a complete list of the honorees.
