Nick Morris, Deputy Director of Technology, represented NextFlex at the Manufacturing USA for hosting the 2026 Network meeting! It was great to share the initiatives that helped advance U.S. competitiveness and resilience, using the unique structure and mechanisms of an institute and the broader Manufacturing USA network.
We just wrapped up our 2026 Manufacturing USA Network Meeting and couldn't be prouder of this group and the work they're doing. Over the past day and a half, representatives from our 17 manufacturing institutes, sponsoring agencies, and other partners gathered to celebrate accomplishments, identify new collaborations, and strategize on how best to move advanced manufacturing forward in the U.S. We're working to make sure that what's invented here is made here, by a skilled American workforce. We appreciate everyone's efforts to attend and contribute. Special thanks to Lisa Friedersdorf, Executive Office of the President, and Ben Solomon, FedTech, for offering insightful keynotes to help set the tone each day. #ManufacturingUSA ARM Institute America Makes AIM Photonics Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) | BioFabUSA BioMADE CESMII CyManII | Cybersecurity Manufacturing Innovation Institute EPIXC IACMI – The Composites Institute LIFT MxD NextFlex NIIMBL | The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals PowerAmerica RAPID Manufacturing Institute® REMADE Institute® Department of Defense Manufacturing Technology Program

Great teams are built through collaboration and a little creativity. Our recent Knowledge Café featured a Marshmallow Tower Challenge that brought colleagues together to think creatively, problem-solve, and connect in new ways. From in-person builders to remote supporters, the energy and teamwork made it a fun and engaging experience for all. Looking forward to more moments like this at NextFlex! Congrats to the winning team! Eliana Schoenberg Nate Strong Victor Freitas Diane Baxster #teambuilding #collaboration Daniel Gamota
