  • We kicked off our Customer Advisory Board meeting this week with a simple ice breaker: What's one AI win from the last 30 days that changed how you work? An onboarding agent managing policies across 8 countries. A billing process cut from 45 minutes to 5. A dynamic benefits site built with AI that's now being considered for company-wide rollout. These aren't pilots on a whiteboard — this is what HR and benefits leaders are actually doing right now. Thank you to our incredible CAB members for bringing this energy and trusting us with a front-row seat. Now tell us: What's one game-changing thing you've done with AI recently?

  • Moms rule. Nava moms? A category of their own. 🧡 Most Navanauts join because they want to make a difference. Because they believe in a future where going to the doctor doesn't come with financial dread. Where no one has to choose between their health and their wallet. Nava moms carry that mission home with them every night and bring it back every morning. They show up with grit, with care, and with a very personal stake in getting this right. Happy Mother's Day to every Nava mama out there. Thank you for everything you do, here and at home.

  • Fix Healthcare Live brought together 245 HR and benefits leaders in San Francisco and virtually across the country last week. And if you want to know what actually moved the needle from the day, hear it straight from Nava co-founder and CEO Brandon Weber. Four takeaways worth your time, especially heading into renewal season.

Last Tuesday we hosted Fix Healthcare Live in San Francisco. 245 people registered between in-person and the live stream. Huge thanks to our mission aligned vendor partners, filling a room full of HR and benefits leaders having the conversations that matter in this industry right now. It. Was. Awesome. Four takeaways from the day: 1. We are in a moment of massive, historic change in HR. Spiraling costs. Healthcare complexity at a breaking point. AI reshaping every role in every organization. HR is in the middle of all of it simultaneously. I could feel the existential mix of excitement and stress in that room. I left energized to help relieve that stress. 2. The alternative healthcare marketplace has hit critical mass. The fully insured PPO is now just one of many viable options. We had a panels with Rightway, ParetoHealth, Thatch, The Difference Card and Garner Health that made that undeniable. If you believe the market has matured, it's almost irresponsible not to evaluate the full marketplace at renewal. 3. The HR function may get more leverage from AI than almost any other function in business. The volume of disparate data and context they touch every day is enormous. When AI is connected to that, entirely new things become possible. The leaders who are climbing that curve right now are going to look back on this moment as a turning point. 4. Preventative healthcare is about to be transformed. Wearables, always-on diagnostics, AI-powered on-ramps into the healthcare journey. We had a panel with Superpower, JOYA, Headway, and Amazon One Medical that made me genuinely fired up about what's coming for our clients and their members over the next five years. I recorded a quick video going deeper on all four. If you're heading into renewal season, I think it's worth a few minutes. We are all part of the #FixHealthcare movement. Now's the time to think differently going into this renewal season. Let's make it count.

  • The gap between "covered" and "cared for" is where the system is failing employees. And HR leaders are in the best position to close it. Start here. Three things you can do right now: 1. Check your EAP utilization data. Low usage usually means low awareness, and that's fixable. 2. Survey your employees on their mental health benefits experience. You can't fix what you don't know is broken. 3. Push your broker for better options. Better network access, better solutions, better outcomes. Swipe to see what most health plans promise vs. what employees actually experience.
