MLI proudly participated in the grand opening of the US-JOINT R&D Center in Silicon Valley, a first-of-its-kind consortium of 12 U.S. and Japanese companies dedicated to accelerating next-generation semiconductor packaging. Two years ago, we had a vision. This week, it opened its doors. Built to compress proof-of-concept timelines from 6 months to as little as 1 month, US-JOINT introduces a new model of collaboration. For our customers, that means the ability to validate new packaging approaches in weeks instead of month, accelerating time-to-market for next-generation devices in areas like AI and high-performance computing. Working side-by-side with partners and customers in a shared R&D environment, we can move faster from concept to real-world application while reducing development risk. • 🌎 ♻️ This Earth Day, we are taking a moment to reflect on the progress we’re making—and the work still ahead. At Moses Lake Industries, sustainability isn’t a future goal—it’s something we’re building into our everyday operations. We’ve partnered with #Polycarbin to expand how we manage plastic waste across our facilities. What used to be landfill-bound is now being redirected into recycling streams, including: • PPE (gloves, hair nets, sleeve protectors, etc.) • Rigid lab plastics (pipette tip boxes, bottles, etc.) • Flexible plastics (stretch wrap, bubble wrap, drum/tote bags, etc.) Since launching these efforts, our team has already recycled more than 30,000 pounds of material, diverting it from landfill across our sites. What matters most isn’t just the number—it’s the shift in mindset. This progress has been driven by employees across our operations who are identifying opportunities, changing habits, and helping us build a more circular approach to materials that have traditionally been treated as single-use. These materials are professionally processed by Polycarbin and repurposed into new, high-quality laboratory products through their closed-loop recycling solution—helping keep valuable resources in circulation. Using Polycarbin’s Carbin Counter™—an ISO-compliant platform—we’re also able to quantify Scope 3 emissions reductions and other environmental benefits, providing transparent, verifiable data for our sustainability reporting. Earth Day is a reminder that small, consistent actions—across teams, sites, and partners—add up to meaningful impact. We’re proud of the progress so far, and we’re just getting started. #EarthDay #Sustainability #Recycling #CircularEconomy #ESG #Polycarbin
