Patricia Arnett, SVP Senior Treasury Market Executive, attended a dedication ceremony for The Ray Brown Memorial Park in Alger, Ohio yesterday. Ray Brown, born on February 23rd, 1908, in Alger, Ohio became one of the greatest and most successful athletes in Northwest Ohio history. He was a standout pitcher in the Negro Leagues throughout the 1930s and 1940s and spent 14 seasons with the Homestead Grays, helping lead the team to eight pennants over a nine-year span. In recognition of his remarkable career and contributions to baseball, he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006. Patricia and her husband, Dave, are pictured with Governor DeWine, who also attended the dedication ceremony.
