About us

MESA Links is a growing network of high-performing charter schools serving the diverse communities of Brooklyn. Our flagship campus, Math, Engineering, and Science Academy (MESA) Charter High School, opened its doors in Bushwick in August 2013 and now serves 500 students in grades 9–12. Since graduating our first class of seniors in 2017, MESA Bushwick has maintained a 94% cumulative graduation rate, reflecting our students' strong commitment to academic success. Building on the success of our flagship school, MESA Links is expanding to meet the growing demand for high-quality education in Brooklyn and is projected to double in size over the next 5 years: -MESA South Brooklyn launched this year with its inaugural 9th grade class of 130 students, offering a rigorous college-preparatory program that mirrors the excellence of our flagship campus. -MESA East New York currently serves 50 students in 7th and 8th grades and will launch its high school campus in SY 26-27. -Our MESA Alumni Lab supports 125 young adults (ages 18–24) from across NYC, helping them re-engage with their education and career pathways through small-group workshops and interventions.

  • Inspire the next generation of professionals! MESA is looking for volunteers to support our career-connected learning initiatives. As working professionals, many of us can point to someone who sparked our interest in a career. MESA offers a number of opportunities, from career panels, workplace visits, mock interviews, and more. Our students are able to connect classroom learning to real-world careers and build job-ready skills through these events. We’re looking for volunteers to help with our programs and share insight into their career. This is a great opportunity to speak on your experiences and establish meaningful connections with young people. ➡️ If you or someone you know is interested, please fill out the form or share with your network! http://bit.ly/3QStIdu Additional details and frequently asked questions can be found on the flyer. On behalf of our students and graduates, thank you in advance for your support. We hope to be in touch soon!

  • Happy Asian American Pacific Islander Month! The term “Asian American Pacific Islander” (AAPI) is broad description of the many cultures and groups across the Asian and Pacific Islander diaspora. According to the official AAPI Heritage Month website, it “encompasses all of the Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.” More recently, the term “Asian Pacific Islander Desi Americans” (APIDA) has been used to include those of South Asian heritage. Later this month, both our Bushwick and South Brooklyn campuses will celebrate with their annual food festivals. Hope to see you there!
