SOCCER, FOOTBALL, AND A CROWD THAT IS BUZZING FOR THIS SUMMER, DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS Last night, at the legendary Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, we saw that a city whose heart is eternally pledged to the Cowboys couldn’t contain their excitement for the other football with the World Cup only 22 days away. We partnered with Bank of America for another live show that captured exactly why soccer’s moment in America is here. In a packed room, Dallas Cowboys icons Emmitt Smith and Demarcus Ware, along with current All-Pro kicker Brandon Aubrey, joined Roger Bennett on stage to discuss the passion, pride, and energy that makes Dallas such a special sports city. That passion has never been more important than now. In three short weeks, the world arrives in the Metroplex and last night made one thing very clear: Dallas is ready. SEVENTEEN WORLD CUP DREAMS CREATED WITH VERIZON. ONE NIGHT IN PHILLY WE’LL NEVER FORGET. 💚 It was a room full of soccer-mad individuals but, Philly being Philly, that didn't stop the onslaught of E-A-G-L-E-S chants. Last night, as we headed to the city of Brotherly Love for Men in Blazers Live from Philly presented by Verizon, the one thing we were confident about was that the good people of Philadelphia would not disappoint. To no one's surprise, they did not. Roger Bennett was joined live on stage by true Keystone State royalty, from Philadelphia Eagles Jordan Mailata, to Matt Quinn and Sotiris Eliopoulos of Mt. Joy, to Pennsylvania’s Governor himself, Josh Shapiro. This night and this buzzing crowd captured everything we love about sport, storytelling, and community. Thanks to Verizon, we helped make World Cup dreams come true for 17 lucky fans through their “Golden Ticket” initiative, giving supporters the chance to experience the biggest sporting event on earth, firsthand. To give out these tickets and create memories that will last long after the final whistle blows is a privilege that we do not take for granted.
