Panels have been installed!! ☀️ Once operational, this 1.5MWdc array will generate roughly 2,000,000 kWh annually, offsetting 65% of the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant electricity usage and is projected to deliver over $2.5 million in net lifetime savings after all capital costs are recovered. Beyond the fiscal benefits, this project marks major progress toward our sustainability goals by providing a carbon offset equivalent to the emissions of 250 Fairfield homes over the next 30 years. Construction is slated for completion summer of 2026, and we look forward to hosting a formal dedication ceremony to celebrate this milestone with the community!
