We're bringing Construction Safety Week to life at every MEI location, on every job, in every region.
Safety Week at MEI Industrial Solutions is off to a strong and meaningful start. We kicked things off by bringing together peers and leaders for an open, honest conversation about what safety truly means in our day-to-day operations. When you’re working around heavy equipment and high-risk environments, complacency isn’t an option. It’s something we can never take for granted. What stood out most was the level of engagement. This wasn’t a “sit and listen” session—it was a collaborative discussion filled with real experiences, lessons learned, and shared accountability. Everyone had a voice, and every perspective mattered. Safety isn’t just about looking out for yourself—it’s about looking out for your team. Being your brother’s keeper. Holding each other accountable so everyone goes home the same way they came in. Strong start to the week, and an even stronger reminder of what truly matters.#SafetyWeek #Leadership #Teamwork #WorkplaceSafety #Accountability

Construction Safety Week topic of today is OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls, which remains one of the leading causes of worker fatalities and life-altering injuries. The most troubling part is that nearly all fall-related incidents are preventable with the right preparation, equipment, communication, and awareness. Fall protection only works when we use it correctly every single time—no shortcuts, no exceptions. Speaking up, slowing down, and choosing the safer action every time is what prevents falls, protects each other, and ensures everyone goes home at the end of the day. Respond. What we do once a hazard is recognized, not reacting after something goes wrong, but acting in advance to prevent it from causing harm. Safety depends on action. At MEI, every team member is empowered to speak up and stop work when needed, no hesitation. Why? Because our goal is simple: zero accidents, total compliance, and the highest standard of safety on every job site. That kind of accountability protects our people and strengthens our performance. The best teams don’t ignore risk, they respond to it. #ConstructionSafetyWeek #RecognizeRespondRespect #MEI #BuiltOnCommitment #MoveEngineerInnovate Learn more @https://lnkd.in/efyCXju

Construction Safety Week 2026 is here. This year’s theme, All In Together, centers on three critical pillars: Recognize, Respond, Respect. Recognizing high-energy hazards on the jobsite is essential to preventing serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs). These risks are often present in the work we do every day, but identifying them early is what makes the difference. In our world, heavy rigging, complex moves, and tight environments, hazard recognition isn’t optional. It’s foundational. At MEI, that starts with detailed lift planning, thorough pre-task meetings, and teams who know what to look for before anything moves. It also means staying alert to changing site conditions and adjusting in real time. Because recognizing risk isn’t a one-time step, it’s a continuous responsibility. #ConstructionSafetyWeek #RecognizeRespondRespect #MEI #BuiltOnCommitment #MoveEngineerInnovate Learn more @https://lnkd.in/efyCXju
