But for many older Americans, the journey is being cut short. A recent KFF Health News report highlights a growing and urgent challenge: patients age 65+ are significantly more likely to discontinue GLP-1 therapy compared to younger patients and they’re also less likely to restart once they stop. 📉 A preview of what the data shows: Patients 65+ are 20%–30% more likely to discontinue GLP-1 therapy than younger patients This is more than a “reminder problem” It’s a support problem shaped by affordability concerns, side effects, confidence, and access to the right education at the right moment.     As we step into the new year, I’m excited to share that I’ve rejoined MedAdvisor Solutions, a company and mission I’ve been connected to since it’s inception as Adheris and one I’m proud to return to. My career in pharmacy has taken me through every corner of this industry: leadership roles at CVS, Brooks Pharmacy and Revco, and many years helping build and evolve Adheris, Adheris Health, and ultimately MedAdvisor Solutions. I’ve seen firsthand how pharmacy has changed, how patient expectations have shifted, and how technology and Ai are reshaping what is possible. What hasn’t changed is the need for meaningful, scalable patient engagement and that is exactly why I’m back. Today’s market is crowded with exaggerated point solutions and promises. But MedAdvisor Solutions brings something different: the ability to reach patients at scale, personalize every interaction, and act on real-time, real-world data with predictive intelligence and with proven results.
