Interior designers and homeowners struggled to find trustworthy places to ship their high-end furniture and antiques. Loss and damage became all too common, and punctuality and professionalism seemed to disappear right along with the missing items. That's when one entrepreneur saw an opportunity to bring Southern manners to modern moving. With just a few trucks, and a positive attitude, Bart McCorquodale and his team quickly gained a reputation as professional and punctual receivers. From there, McCorquodale Transfer was born, and the business soon expanded to encompass everything from receiving and storage to delivery and installation across the southern United States. Today, McCorquodale has become the white-glove partner of choice for high-end homeowners and top-tier designers throughout the South. He also served seven years in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the discipline and strategic mindset that continue to shape his leadership style today.
