Scale hiring. Perfectly.
About us
For decades, enterprise hiring ran on the ATS, with an accumulation of software built around it to patch every gap. None of it was built to think or act. Every decision still required a human. The bottleneck was never the data. It was the absence of intelligence running on top of it. Maki is that intelligence. The lovable layer on top of the unloved software. AI agents running hiring end to end, from first application to hire decision, on top of your existing ATS. Organizations like H&M, PwC, Amazon, Nestlé, and Sephora already run Maki at scale. Our global partnership with H&M saved 250,000 recruiter hours, cut time-to-hire by 4x, and reduced turnover by 22%, delivering $85M ROI. And for staffing firms and RPOs, where hiring is the entire business? This is not a feature addition. It is a business model transformation. The firms moving first with Maki are delivering a fundamentally different service: lower cost, higher quality, at a scale no manual process can match. We're already deep in it with some of the largest staffing players globally. 90% automation. 3x faster time-to-hire. 98% candidate NPS. Every hire makes the system smarter. Learn more: makipeople.com

Our vision is to give human resources more-than-human powers. We build AI agents that liberate HR teams, advance organizations, and expand human potential. HR was never designed for impact—it’s trapped in legacy systems meant for record-keeping, not decision-making. Manual tasks, fragmented tools, and outdated ATS/LMS solutions slow HR down. 90% of talent data remains unstructured and wasted. Instead of hiring top talent, teams are stuck screening and scheduling in slow, impersonal processes. Maki changes that. Our AI Agents are fully autonomous, embedding into workflows to free HR from inefficiencies. They don’t just assist—they act. We transform HR into a strategic powerhouse, replacing wasted data and rigid systems with seamless, AI-powered talent intelligence that fuels business growth.

Forvis Mazars en France recruits at scale across audit and consulting, reviewing around 200,000 applications and hiring 5,000 people every year. They wanted an efficient way to identify skills early in the process, reduce reliance on CV screening, and deliver a stronger candidate experience. big FAIL today 🍰 🍰 🍰 two of my BDRs spent the day walking Manhattan in suits, carrying handmade Maki chocolate cakes the plan was simple. show up at Fortune 500 HQ and hand a cake to the CHRO. the result? rejected at every single door. security said no, every time. and honestly, I am so proud of them. they tried something weird. they failed in style. they kept their sense of humor through the whole thing. this is what building a real company looks like. you ship the strange ideas. you let your team take big swings. you celebrate the attempt, even when the bat misses. now we have a problem though. a lot of cake. so if you are a CHRO or HR leader in Manhattan and want to share a goûter with your team this afternoon, DM me. just tell your security guard the cake is on its way. the guys will come back, and this time with backup. imagine what this team will pull off once we actually partner together. who is in? well done Lenny Brenner & Rob Heppenstall

9 months. one signature. take off. today Captain Natasha Brennan closed a partnership with one of the most iconic Fortune 500 brands in the world. ✈️ ✈️✈️ people underestimate what enterprise deals really take. months of conversations. on site meetings. proof points. trust built one meeting at a time. these don't happen on a demo call. they happen when your team shows up again, and again, and again. what i love about Tash: she never lost altitude. calm in turbulence. today we finally lift off together. day one of a long flight. we're just climbing. to every founder pushing through long enterprise cycles: keep going. the signature is just the boarding pass. the real work starts now. 👏

only one vendor in the room. that was us 👏 last week Aiden Loe and Jinji SHEN flew to New Orleans for SIOP 2026, THE conference that brings together the sharpest minds in I/O psychology. everyone else in the room was deep inside Fortune 500 orgs. Walmart, J&J, Deloitte, Microsoft, Ford, PepsiCo, Citi etc. the mood has shifted. last year SIOP was sceptical about AI in hiring. this year it wasn't. the conversation moved from "can AI do this" to "how do we do it responsibly." transparency. evaluation frameworks. traceability. fairness. the EU AI Act is pushing shared accountability between providers and deployers. technical documentation is no longer optional. Aiden and Jinji also took the stage with their research: "from experts to LLMs, validating open ended scoring in high volume recruitment." at Maki we believe that's the only way to build something truly transformational when AI meets hiring. rigour and science at every layer. want Aiden's full debrief from the conference? drop Aiden Loe 🤙 in the comments and he'll send his complete notes your way !!

We are going live today at 10 AM ET (4PM CET) with Mike Clementi. 🪐 The hiring playbook has changed. The organisations that have understood this aren't just hiring faster, they've rebuilt the model entirely. And the gap between them and everyone else is compounding. Mike Clementi, fmr. EVP & CHRO at Unilever, joins Maxime Legardez Coquin, CEO of Maki People, today to discuss what that playbook actually looks like. If this is on your radar, this is the conversation to join. Last week, Jinji SHEN and I attended SIOP 2026. Always a pleasure to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. The kind of conversations that happen in the hallways are just as valuable as the sessions themselves. A few things stood out. The mood has shifted. SIOP 2025 was sceptical about AI. SIOP 2026 was not. The question is no longer whether AI belongs in recruitment and selection; it's how to do it responsibly. Responsible AI dominated the conversation. Transparency, evaluation frameworks, traceability, and fairness were everywhere. The EU AI Act is pushing towards shared accountability between providers and deployers - which means technical documentation is no longer optional. The infrastructure is being built. LLMs are now being used for job analysis, competency modelling, SJT development, constructed response scoring, interview optimisation, and recruiter debriefs. What impressed us wasn't the use cases themselves — it was the rigour behind them. Theoretical frameworks, iterative testing, and systematic evaluation. This is science-backed automation at scale. That's what we do at MakiPeople. But some important conversations are still missing, and I'll admit I'm biased towards using LLMs in recruitment and selection here. Score injection, adversarial test-taking, and synthetic data testing barely featured. And perhaps the biggest open question of all: does any of this actually improve the predictive validity of relevant outcomes above and beyond traditional assessments? The honest answer is that the evidence is still lacking. For a field moving this fast, that gap is one we cannot afford to ignore. There is still a lot to build, evaluate and prove. And I am excited by the thought of it! Looking forward to the next SIOP 2027! *We are still looking for an AI Scientist to join the team. If you know someone who could be a great fit, please send them my way. See link in comments. =)

Inconsistent recruitment practices. High turnover. Lengthy time-to-hire. Nespresso didn't just need faster hiring. They needed hiring that held. The results after deploying Maki: - 48.6% lower turnover - 26% faster time to hire - 99% of candidates left with a better perception of Nespresso But the metric that says it all? Their team put it best: "We gain in equity, in efficiency, in quality." Thanks to Marie Rakotondrainibe Gripina, Camille Giraud and Jeremy for sharing their journey with Maki. "Maki, what else?"
