About us
The Lowell Spinners return to LeLacheur Park in 2026 as a collegiate summer team in the Futures League, reviving a beloved baseball tradition in Mill City. We pair top collegiate talent from elite programs with a fan-first game day experience built for families, fans, and the regional business community. LeLacheur Park—set in the heart of Merrimack Valley—once again becomes a gathering place for New England baseball fans, youth programs, and community partners. Our season features Futures League home games, theme nights, and collaborative events with local nonprofits, schools, and youth organizations. As Mill City’s team, the Spinners deliver affordable, memorable nights out while giving players a platform to grow on and off the field. For fans, community leaders, and corporate partners, the Spinners offer a proud local brand that reflects the energy, diversity, and resilience of Lowell and the surrounding region.

Before he became Jack Kerouac, the voice of a generation, Jack took to the diamond in Lowell. A true athlete with a passion for the game, Jack didn’t just play… he competed. This season, the Spinners proudly team up with the Jack Kerouac Center for a season-long partnership to help restore Saint Jean Baptiste Church into a world-class cultural landmark, honoring the city, the legacy, and the man who once chased greatness both on the page and on the diamond.

Meet the new Lowell Spinners ownership group. The franchise is led by Marc Deschenes (Principal Owner & Chief Baseball Officer) and John Croteau (Chairman & CEO). Marc is a UMass Lowell standout who was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in 1995 and later selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1999 Rule 5 Draft, going on to a 13-year pro career before running elite youth programs including the Jr. Spinners/USA Prime. John is a veteran tech executive with a 42-year track record, having scaled Boston neurotech startup Pison and grown MACOM (NASDAQ: MTSI) to a $4.5B valuation, while remaining deeply connected to the Lowell community. They are joined by a strong group of Limited Partners, including MLB legend Johnny Damon, Mark Budzinski (First Base Coach, Toronto Blue Jays), Zach Sorensen (Mental Performance Coach, Cincinnati Reds), and a dedicated group of family and friends. A new era of Spinners baseball is officially underway.
