Latino Community Credit Union is now accepting applications for the 2026 Scholarship Program, due March 31, 2026. Since 2016, the program has supported the educational goals of our members by awarding more than 350 scholarships totaling over $1 million! Scholarship awards range from $1,500 to $4,500. Black History Month at LCCU  At Latino Community Credit Union, we believe that honoring history strengthens the future we are building together.  This year, our employees came together to organize a meaningful Black History Mini Museum at our headquarters in Durham — created by our team, for our entire LCCU community.  Through collaboration, learning, and shared commitment, they built a space to recognize and celebrate the legacy, resilience, leadership, and cultural contributions of the Black community.   We are proud of the initiative, teamwork, and heart that made this celebration possible.  #BlackHistoryMonth #LCCU #Inclusion #Community #StrongerTogether

Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) was truly honored to be recognized with the Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award at the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation's award gala in Charlotte, NC. LCCU’s CEO, Vicky Garcia, and Chief Lending Officer, Irving Bustillo, were proud to be there among their esteemed colleagues to accept the award.   This prestigious award means a lot to everyone at LCCU because it recognizes credit unions that put the philosophy of “People Helping People” into real, practical action, through programs and services that empower members. It is named after Louise Herring, a true champion of the credit union movement.
